Altcoins were following the price of bitcoin movement from the history but it sometime happen in the opposite direction as well so there is no need for that to be happen like that but most likely it will be in the current situation.

For coins that have no price or volume. Usually these coins will not increase even though the bitcoin at that time has increased in price. Because there are indeed coins that have become trash or no longer valuable, they will never increase again. You better forget the coin.

Almost all members in this forum talk about bull run, coins that are good for investment and so on. now I have a number of coin assets that I got from several bounty projects last year. the amount is not small when compared to other bounty participants, but the coin coins among them no longer have a volume on the exchanger. maybe even the coin will be a worthless coin. my question is. if there is a bull run when Ethereum, Bitcoin, EOS, Stellar and all other coins are greatly increased, will some of my coins be worth again? Will a bull run affect the price of my token?
Bull run will of course affect the price of the tokens you have. As we all know that Altcoins are pretty dependent to Bitcoin's price and flow. As long as we bought them cheap it will be good for us. But we need to do our own due diligence for better and safer results. Cryptocurrency investment is not an easy thing to do most especially in Altcoin and choosing the right tokens will also makes any sense.

There is no mistaken that bicoin movement always being followed by the altcoins, even though not all altcoins keep following the way bitcoin react in the market, but majority of altcoins always following bitcoin's movement.

I think coins with a weak team and a small community may not grow as fast as large projects. So my strategy today is to focus on the big coins and get a stable profit.

Nobody really knows in fact but we all hope for this to become true Anyway you have nothing to do now, just wait and pray If the growing market will affect your coins accept this as a gift

I't not a lie or just an issue if bitcoin price goes up, then the altcoins will also goes up even though it's not that high. Right now if the price suddenly rise, it should be able to give some smile on every coin holder.

For OP, I don't know if you get a shitcoins or a legit coin which is in the top list of CMC. Well, you don't have to worry if it is still active in trading but if not then you probably get a shit coin which is used for pump and dump for most ICO.
yes I actually have confidence because they already exist in CMC, so I still have hope, but I feel scared because some of the coins I have have no trading volume on some exchangers. Hm, it's too difficult to choose. If you sell right now, you will get a big loss, but if you still hold the coin, you think that there is no future for that coin. How if you can sacrifice the money and sell the coin even if you are losing big money? At least, you can get the money to invest in other coins so you can move on with the next plan or strategy. I think we all feel the same but I think you can wait for this year, and if there is nothing happen in this year, so the final decision would be to sell the coin so you can get out from the worst situations.

If you want a safe option of what to hold during the next bull run, BTC and ETH can be your top 2 choices.
Both of these coins have survived the Crypto Winter with increased reach, security and anti-fragility.
I also believe that these two coins will bring more profit and they have lost much less value than the other coins.

Well, most coins are paired with bitcoin or ethereum. So, whenever the price of bitcoin goes up, the value of the coin goes up as well depending on how much does bitcoin grow. But, not all coins grow whenever there's an increase in bitcoin price, it still depends on the market volume of a coin.

It generally depends on what coin\token\asset you have chosen. If the project has some potential then Bitcoin bull run of course help. But if this project is absolutelly useless no pump of other coins can't rise the price

BTC Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System BTC A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

But, not all coins grow whenever there's an increase in bitcoin price, it still depends on the market volume of a coin. If you will convert it into fiat then the relevance of this statement is correct, each time the value of bitcoin went up and the value of coin into bitcoin remain the same, surely it will rise after converting it to fiat, as the basic pairs relied with btc and all the traders and investors are eyeing with any pairs that will gives them decent profits.

because Bitcoin is a coin that serves as a guide for investors so that if Bitcoin grows, investors will not hesitate on Altcoin and that will make Altcoin grow. so I believe if Bitcoin rises then there will be many altcoins that go up especially the top altcoin.

I would like to see a list of your coins and only then draw conclusions. But it seems to me that if a coin is dead, it cannot be resurrected.

Usually, if long-term growth starts in the crypto market, all popular coins from the top of the coinmarketcap.com list begin to grow. What will happen to the price of little-known tokens, I do not dare say, it is necessary to study each project individually.

BTC is the leader of the cryptocurrency market. The leader of today's industry has a very serious success. Regulation today is the really successful action of the cryptocurrency market leader. Now all this is clearly understandable. The main thing is that BTC is manipulated and this is a problem.

I think this is not a problem if you learn to understand how those people who manipulate price think. in this case, you will always earn money

I think that will happen to the tokens that you generate from the prize campaign, on the other hand I'm also still convinced that some other altcoins are still dependent on this bitcoin price increase. therefore everyone here waits and hopes that the increase in bitcoin prices can happen again.
true there are still many coins that depend on bitcoin, including the price because, bitcoin is the parent of all coins so the price of rising bitcoin will also affect other coins, somehow it can be like that but, I also hope the price of bitcoin can continue to rise so that other coins are also can follow up. But my question is, how do you know the coins that depends on bitcoin because I am very sure the bull run we have all been waiting for is the one of BTC since they control at least 70% of the market. One thing I really don’t understand is this market is why they have to depend on BTC when they have standalone projects, why can’t they just all use BTC for their own project rather than creating one coin that makes no sense or will eventually fade away in the long run.
