and they have a decent market cap worth 1000's of dollars..
How do people just make there own coins that easy? and how are they raising so much money??
i mean like, whats stopping a normal person like me, doing the same thing.. just making a random coin and making thousands of dollars??
this is so stupid.. what is the need for all these useless coins?? when is it gonna stop?

no, you can't stop it like the number of new ico popping up. I think regulation should be there to become a legal umbrella.
but it is inseparable from the many innovations developed from previous altcoins or carrying ideas such as bitcoin.
so, the point is you don't have to focus on altcoins that aren't attractive to you, make experience and knowledge in every speculation

I think i also observed the same thing in the coinmarketcap, however i believe listing a new coin or token in the coinmarketcap is not all that very easy, there are not lots of market conditions one has to meet before one get listed

A lot of peoples are starting their own start-ups for which they regulate a new coin which would be accepted as a payment source on their platform.

These coins are regulating into circulation and are getting the fund raisings from various angel investors, big whales, etc. There are thousands of ICO projects who launch their own coin so you can imagine how fast the numbers of CMC coins are been filling up.

People make a lot of money from ICO because they spend a lot of money in making the ICO a successful one, most time I come to the forum and see how startup ask for people who can join their team for tokens, they even go as far as looking for devs that would be able to work for them for coins, and I begin to wonder if those companies don't have enough money to pay developers to work on the project, how would they ever have money to market the project that has been built because no good marketing agency will want to work for tokens instead of real cash.

Stupid and money-saving coins are the ones created in the past. It is unlikely to be listed in coinmarketcap with such ideas these days. In addition, there are so many new money created and only a few of them is listed in CMC.

I have lots of shit coins I have invested in in the past that ended up not having a position on coin market cap and not even all listed coins on CMC can start the test of time, personally  for me, what I do most is to invest on the top 20 coins no matter how expensive them may look.

I don’t have to buy full coin to invest, most other coins are being threatened by the rubbish activities going on in the crypto world. Only BTC is still the most reliable coin for now which we seriously need to embrace more.

to be listed on coinmarketcap tokens need to be listed on two or more exchange of medium importance, i think that coinmarketcap has a program that automatically adds tokens if they reach certain conditions, create a new token is easy and even free is all the work around that is hard like create good publicity, interest and a credible ico

New coins are not so difficult to create. Initially, the developers themselves can create the appearance of trading in order to draw attention to the coin. Everyone is trying to earn as much as they can.

I also see a new ICO program being launched every day.
I don't understand the more coins / tokens, the smaller the chance that the coin will survive in the marketcap. in the end a lot of coins die and the volume decreases then becomes a rubbish coin.
I think there must be a new regulation for the ICO.

Nothing can stop you. Most of the coins in Coinmarketcap are shitcoin. When it is time to resist, most of it will be ruined. Even it lists the money with some criteria. There are thousands of counterfeit money which was not listed.

If you are checking Announcement(Altcoins) daily you can see a new added project daily there is no doubt even in bounties board new bounty project is added almost everyday and there is no stopping it for now. There is scam but there is also legits but I dont like it, why not just support existing coins atleast top 10 on coinmaketcap to increase adoption, everyone just want to create their own coin/token and make some money and there is so much stablecoin that exist right now I dont know if its really backed by someting like gold etc.

most of your opinion was true if we compared with real condition at this moment.only few projects that could survive and continuesly developt their projects.maybe only around 5% from total projects as founder Ethereum said before.
