Hello!

Kbminer 1.2 version don't work with grin31 on Hive OS. Cards 1080 Ti. Trying on sparkpool and f2pool, filling by tags (%WAL% for example) and manualy, with and without password, rebooting miner and farm don't helps.
If you started kbminer grin31 on hive, help me please whit configuration!

the format of args passing to kbminer is totally correct.

but the error message shows that your add an additional ‘-’ before ‘grin-cuckatoo31’, which will be treated as an unrecognized parameter.

please remove that ‘-’ and try again

I can assume that the developers will add algo only when it is no longer profitable, as of today, there are more profitable coins on green gpu.

Now nobody will tell you, if the information is in public, then it is no longer profitable! There are a lot of social resources (announcements section, reddit, discord ....) to search for profitable coins. In addition, Google has not been canceled Wink

Now in order to engage in mining and make a profit you need to look for new promising coins. Mine top coins unprofitable.

All top coins are unprofitable as probably everyone knows about them. Now profitable coins are those about which very few people know and it is on the exchange. You can also consider the option of mining for the future, that is, until a new coin appears on the exchange.

Greetings.

Any chance of KBMiner in the future supporting in the Swap [XWP] mining algo, Cuckaroo29s (a variant of Grin's Cuckaroo29)? I've seen in earlier posts in this thread questions about Swap support, but there's nothing in this regard in the readme file of the software.
If possible, please, think about that possibility. The fast growing community would be very grateful, since we need all the help possible (Swap hasn't any premine or dev fee).
If you're interested, there are the differences between the algorithms:

Grin Cuckaroo29     -> Cycle length: 42 bits / Nonce lenght: 8 bytes
Swap Cuckaroo29s -> Cycle length: 32 bits / Nonce lenght: 4 bytes

For the share verification, the cycle needs to be packed according to the reduced length.

really one of the best miners for this coin. I also dug this coin at the beginning, but now there are already a lot of people. switched to another coin Until the coin is new then it digs well and then when many people are flooded, then the earnings are falling very much
