Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Never heard this kind of auctions before. Good questions though, is the OP just shilling for velic because he is part of the team? Or just really wanted to share to the community.

10 seconds? That fast? Wow. So pretty much this is an anticipated event is they sold that quick in an auction. I'm also interested on how many bitcoins is sold here 1? 10?

It sounds tempting, but unfortunately, I never heard that before. Maybe there will be many traders who were trying to bid the bitcoin price, but I am not sure about that. Maybe you can explain more details about the event so we can know the point because after I visit the website, I still confuse about how to make a bid. I am not registered on the site, I just curious how to bid.

Based on the official site of velic.io, the auction started at March 30, 2019, 04:00:00 AM(UTC) which is some hours ago (1st round) out of 3 scheduled rounds. Now should be the time for the 3rd round and it will end in around 40 minutes, but I cant find any progress of this event. How much is being sold during the each round, but the total supply for the auction is 50btc.
Maybe someone need to have velic account in order to see the complete details of the on going auction.

Before you can participate you would need to pass this one.

It seems not much of a hassle to pass verification level 3 just like other exchanges who have KYC.
