Jesus, looks like nobody replied to this thread--not surprising, since this section is populated by garbage posters.
I was going to start a thread similar to this one, but I found yours by searching for Raspberry pi staking, which I'm just learning about. Right now I'm staking some PIVX and don't want to continue doing it on my desktop computer. There may be times I have to shut it down or restart it or whatever, and it uses a lot of electricity.
The problem is that I know very little about computing, and after watching some tutorials on Youtube about staking with a RPi I'm still confused. There's a UK company that sells Stakeboxes all set up to stake whatever coin your interested in, but it seems like it'd be way cheaper just to buy a RPi and set it up manually.
As to your question, I don't know anything about staking pools. I kinda like staking on my computer, and I've already earned some PIVX in the 12 days or so that I've been staking it. Go for the Raspberry Pi option is my advice. It sounds like a very cool concept.
