Groesl yesterday and today was a gruesome PND ...

So i looked into a few of these PND groups on Telegram and Discord.

More to come, it seems.

I see discussions on multiple boards where they speak of dumping Enjin (ENJ) for 2 days, to lower the price to maximize profits.

On another board with lots of members, the same people talk about a massive pump of Enjin later today, aiming at price of $0.26 per coin.

Members will receive the exact time of the pump by SMS.

Just wanted to know, all you all familiar with these things ?

Well honestly i hate pump and dump practices its just like a market manipulation for me. But sometimes its needed to estabilized the price of a coin/token that usually dips by massive dumping from holders specially when the platform or the market was experiencing downtrends due to FUD and Negative information.

That's exactly the case with Enjin

Too many holders blocking progress, way too much resistance

You see it more and more lately with other coins too

It's mainly because they are too uncertain to go for a higher asking price

I've seen people loose good amounts of money trying pump and dumps, its best to just invest in a top 10 coins and wait for slow profit.

Most of the pump and dump were be caused by investors who have access to their coins and move them to the exchange to sell in a lower price away from the ICO price. While some dump and pump were as a result of the project team scam their investors. Don't invest what you can't afford to loose or ensure to diversify your portfolio to minimize looses.

Those are pretty risky things. I have tried to take part in such events, but the only thing that I have learned, is never to enter this field. Be careful, because you can lose a lot of money, by buying at a very high price.

I don't believe that exact time shit.

Picture this:
Top rank (Pump lord) sends signal to selected VIP member couple of hours before the time set so they can start buying.
After a couple of hours, pump lord send messages on the agreed time to pump noobs.
Few minutes later, pump lord and vip's start dumping on these noobs.

market is always like that.. they can make money on that.. people or investor with so much money can do those pumps and dumps scheme.. i am not surprise for this one

Usually it is made by the team of the coin. That's why you should not buy when they pump a coin. If you bought at the start of the pump it can be fine.
Sometimes coins die because they got pumped too hard and they are left dead as team has sold all its coins and ran away.

Definitely. It's part of the ecosystem, specially shitcoins. Most of them are designed to be just a pump-and-dump coins and then will die a natural death.

But as far as ENJ, they've gained a lot from the hype of Samsung statement, but I haven't check lately if they sustain the growth specially from last weeks massive spike of bitcoin than echoed on most altcoins.

Now such groups and chat rooms are not popular because already many people understood that such schemes bring profit only to the organizers of such groups.

If you are in crypto market, you should be used of those kind of things. Because this crypto market is still working with hypes and unpredictable. We will see the bright sides after regulations.
