Author Topic: Help me please my wallet is zero and I have nothing in the history  (Read 197 times)

Hello, as you can see in the first picture, I made a withdrawal from Bittrex to my personal wallet.
By that time the XMR had arrived. But yesterday I wanted to connect to my wallet and as you can see in the second photo it is at zero and with no history or deposit withdrawal.
But I do not understand why there is no transaction in the history, because the day I made the transactions, they had arrived in my wallet..
Where does the problem come from ? Can it be solved?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Are you using desktop wallet? If you are using desktop wallet, try to sync your wallet first. Or make sure you are using new version of your wallet.

yes, I already checked all that. I've even been on MyMonero with my mnemonic phrase, but it's still at zero and still nothing in the transaction history

If you have an iOS device, give cake wallet a try.
Use it to restore your wallet via mnemonic phrase, sync blockchain from the start of 2018 and let it finish syncing.
Check if the balance shows after the wallet is synced.

IT could be that your phone or pc doesn't have enough memory to sync with the blockchain so it's not showing.
Depending on your GUI, there are ways to see your balance without syncing or downloading the entire blockchain.
Of course, you would have to look up how to do that with whatever wallet you use.
I guess that's not much help in the end.

Another reason might be because you aren't using the latest version of the wallet you are using.
These things will often not show anything because the older versions can't connect to the blockchain properly.

But whatever the case is, even if you can't see it, your coins are there on the blockchain.
As long as you have kept your key safe, they are there, so there are many ways to access it.

Firstly, try updating your wallet, there might be bug fixes. Also, give it time to sync, maybe the block height for that transaction hasn't been reached. Also try importing to other wallets, you can check monero official website for recommended wallets.

I believe strongly that there is something wrong somewhere because I can't call it an hack since you said the wallet had no history of both deposit and withdrawals, you actually need to check the private key well because it is possible that you are making use of the wrong one to log into your account so please double check again to see if it is the right one, it's not possible for transaction history to just disappear since it's being called from the blockchain itself and not from a database unless you made use of a centralized wallet.

I know this is a legit question that needs urgent attention in your side, i understand your frustration but maybe you have used the wrong wallet, or anything, because it had no transaction, did you checked it clearly? maybe you used the other wallet, please give some time to review your details, because its hard to speculate to that problem.

Either desktop or mobile wallet sometimes all you have to do is resync the block chain ,some mobile wallets have this issues too but if none solve it then you need to recheck the address maybe you aren't using the one you claimed should have transaction history

I found, just check Mark as Trusted Deamon in the configuration section of the remote node and click on "connect". Thank you for your help and advice

Since you have zero transaction history you've got the answer you needed already ,that's not your wallet ,that's a new wallet entirely because there is no way me can delete past wallet transaction history ,even if you import to any other wallets you will still get your old transaction histories ,make sure your backup phrase is correct

Since you have zero transaction history you've got the answer you needed already ,that's not your wallet ,that's a new wallet entirely because there is no way me can delete past wallet transaction history ,even if you import to any other wallets you will still get your old transaction histories ,make sure your backup phrase is correct
Perhaps it's nit getting updated/sync with the latest, OP has mistakenly created a new wallet somehow. Do you have the private key of your address or any seed of your wallet?
