What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
The only thing which can increase the confidence of cryptocurrency investors is when the crypto market becomes like in the later part of 2017 when bitcoin was about $20k and ethereum was also around $1k. A lot of investors lost huge sums of money in 2018 due to the present of scam crypto projects. But I think investors are gradually getting back into the crypto ecosystem due to the current state of the crypto market. |

Whose confidence? People who believed in Bitcoin were never left their space, so the thing you were talking about is new investors, mostly who caught in some ICO and too many shitcoins. If the system can stop creating new ICO/STO without proper evaluation of the legitimacy of the project, then new investors may get the confidence to stay here for a long time.
Cryptocurrency belief is the belief that crypto owners do not lose, because with optimism and trust that crypto provides great benefits for traders and investments, all will be proven. If trust is not owned it will be very easy for panic, frustration or disappointment when trading predictions are not as expected, decisions taken are irrational because they are emotional which can result in losses. |

I also regret not selling when the price of bitcoin reaches $ 20k, but now is the right thing to buy again because we can get cheap and the market looks skyrocketing again. |

The way to restore confidence to investors is certainly not an easy thing, but it is important to do so that investors can believe that crypto will be a good potential for the future, the approach must continue to be done to investors to be able to restore their confidence

I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.
If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.
Why would you like to transfer all of your fund on an exchange that is not that really reputable? Why not to let your fund stay on your own wallet where you have your keys? I think the reputation and confidence that you are talking in crypto cannot be fixed unless we on ourselves is responsible enough in our decisions. |

There is nothing needed to be done to restore confidence in cryptocurrency because crypto always fix its problem in time now investors are more wiser and even the scared ones that leave ICOs behind took the IEO train instead so the puzzles are been set

The more time the crypto-currency market has, the more firmly it stands on its feet, the problems are gradually solved, which is clearly seen in the example of ICO and IEO, there is no doubt in the crypto-currency and you should always work with full faith in a good future |

Well, the whole field is not in a best imaginable situation and institutional investors will come in just after regulations will kick in. I am not in their favour, especially when government "authority" tries to use its robust and merciless bureaucratic machine on decentralized systems- but it is fun to watch at the very least  . Unfortunately, I do not think that there are much people around to start an uprising trend without a help "from the outside." I hope that I am wrong, but it seems like it is not going to change in a short to medium-term. |

Confidence can be returned to the cryptoindustry only time and large volumes of trade. As soon as the volumes grow up, the people will not be able to deny the fact that it is in demand. And on this you need to do business.Now there is a big trend reversal - everyone already understands it. No matter how we put it, regulations have creeper in already to a Lil extent anyways. Some jurisdictions will go to any length to bring team members to book if they don't pass regulations. That aside, I think crypto is drawing more attention right now with the current market uptrend, vast product development from top projects , IEO, drawing concerns etc. So in essence, confidence is growing in this space right now.

Like pointed out earlier, regulation is very important(atleast to a certain healthy level). Confidence boost can only return if investors see cryptocurrency as an avenue to make money and not loose it. The more scams or fraud are perpetrated in this space, the more potential investors evade the market.
but it won't be forever like that and of course there will be updates that make it better. fraud will decrease and the project will run well so investors will come back again to start growing trust again. optimistic and believe that Cryptocurrency will give good results so don't be easily discouraged from doing anything. |

Government regulation will increase investor confident and others people will think crypto is legit investment. If investor more confident, i am believe market will recovery sooner because its about market psychology. With government regulation, investor not afraid anymore about scam because government should be protecting investor funds |
