Five of these exchanges are owned by Nigerians and have their offices in Nigeria while the other five are foreign companies that offer bitcoin exchanges services in Nigeria.

It is very good to know that in nigeria there is a lot of exchange, but how are these exchanges in nigeria going to handle nigeria government in relation to bitcoin?

If more people in Nigeria start to believe in cryptocurrencies or blockchain as a whole, government will have no choice but to shut up.
The so called Union banks obviously feel threatened and try to scare off the general population that may not be enlightened enough about  cryptos. It's usually easy to lie to such crowds.
