So what if they haven't included bitcoin wallet? everyone is free to download bitcoin wallets that they wish. But what Samsung did was good, they were now more open to crypto's which can increase the exposure of crypto's not just for ethereum wallet .

The electronics bull, Samsung has officially declared that the blockchain and cryptocurrency wallet for its Galaxy S10 phone is at this time compatible only with Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum-derived ERC20 coins. Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies are not yet supported, regardless of the BTC logo surfacing on previous pre-release presentation pictures.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/galaxy-blockchain-wallet/

Their call if they dont like to support bitcoin but sooner or later they would realized that Bitcoin would really be needed yet majority of the community
would always prefer on using up bitcoin but ETH isnt really a bad choice though but they will see on the things which on demand so i dont really worry at all
when adding up bitcoin soon.

I would not be in a hurry to draw any conclusions from this news now. Who knows, maybe it was conceived in order to draw public attention to themselves and then, when they get a good press and interest grows people will be ready to release a phone with support for a bitoin wallet? It would be a good marketing move and I think it would help them increase sales.

Nothing big deal here I guess, because its easy to use ETH and maybe this is the reason why they choose ETH instead of bitcoin. Well, whatever coin they will use this is still a great development by samsung and yes it will still affect the price of every coin.

You are right and I don't see any issue regarding with this. Eth has the same popularity with btc and most ICOs accept eth so that could be the reason for supporting eth transactions first. We should rejoice on what is happening instead of debating because we all benefit with this news because Samsung is the most patronize brand around the world next to Apple.

not problem that samsung s10 only supply for token in the ethereum platform.
Because there are already a lot of wallet that support all type of coin in the pc wallet.

Yes Samsung galaxy s10 will support not only Ethereum but erc20 tokens too as per what the news says but I don't see anything bad that bitcoin is excluded ,as a matter of fact one can still download bitcoin android wallet on the galaxy s10 so its win win

indeed, smart phones that have crypto can support the development of the crypto world but, what is surprising, is why there are no major bitcoin in coins, eth, which is still under it, bitcoin can enter without any intermediaries, maybe tomorrow can be better if you use crypto it might be possible to prioritize the greater so that it is just.

This is just the start and it is a good move from Samsung to integrate Enjin wallet in their Galaxy S10 models.
It a big step forwards for mass adoption of crypto. The wallet supporting BTC will follow for sure in the future.

I do not think that makes a big difference. Because there are very few places where crypto is already supported as payment. ETH or BTC, it does not matter. Definitely others will be added in the future.

This is it, in future maybe they will add bitcoin and other coins from top 100, this wallet is available on all new Samsung, S10, S10e, S10+, and S10 5g? Or just on S10?

How come they by pass the father of all coin? Grin Did Vitalik made some agreement with Samsung that is why they fully support Ethereum? Nevertheless, Samsung adaption of cryptocurrency is good and it could be the stepping stone for other people to get involve in the crypto ecosystem.

I don't think Samsung doesn't want to add the btc wallet option to their latest Flaghship just maybe there are still some bugs or some problems(?) Who knows ?, I'm sure BTC will be added to their wallet sooner or later. They may now prioritize ethereum and ethereum-based tokens in their flagship. I mean BTC is the beginning of all cryptocurrency, it's impossible for Samsung to ignore this. Well, let's see what will happen in the future.

This is fantastic news for cryptocurrency adoption and especially good for Ethereum in terms of increasing brand awareness, expanding its user base and developing more use cases for tokenized assets, but it's a surprising move that Bitcoin wasn't added and hopefully it will be supported in the future along with other major assets to make mobile portfolio's more secure

Samsung has been so shady about this cryptocurrency wallet from the beginning. they started it with leaking a rumor online and then continue evading every clarification. we still don't know what it really is going to do and why they chose it like this.
i would be very careful in using something like that, unless you don't care about backdoors!

I dont think that this is the reason why btc is not included in the release of the phone  . i guess the owner is just an anti bitcoin , thats why they didnt include bitcoin  .  bitcoin is more popular and can also work fast depending on the fee or depending on the network traffic  . but as what other said , this isnt really a big problem to consider because we can still download a wallet that accepts bitcoin and other cryptos  .

I wonder how they plan to do this. Is it going to be decentralized, and censorship resistance or they plan to centralize it with millions of customers trusting it is safer and secure than even the decentralized wallets due to  the Samsung brand?

I don't have any idea about why s10 does support enj coin, it seems like it is something espacial that sumsung s10 has listed it to it's wallet, may be in new phones we see more coins and more wallets, and I'm happy that it supports btc, it's respectful.

For sure it will, and I agree with you in terms of people awareness about crypto especially with ETH which will be first adopted by samsung s10,
afterwards we will see more of them, just a quick start and everything will go smoothly, a preparations for more adoptions to happen in the near
future, we just need to wait and see.

I don't know the real score why they preferred an ETH wallet instead of a bitcoin wallet. But there's no problem by having that because we're all free to download reliable bitcoin wallets that we can use. I don't find this something as favorable or what, as long as it is crypto related and can cause mass adoption I'm grateful with that.
