I think you have misunderstood my statement , what i meant is that some mods could very likely count on the "number of reports" if a post gets reported by say 10 members then it will very likely be deleted regardless of any other concedrations.
If multiple people have reported the same post then there's probably a very good reason why they all think like that, but there's no difference in marking it good or bad to a mod. A staff member would review the post regardless of how many people reported it and if everyone was wrong in their report, then again, it would likely be either marked as bad or just left alone if they couldn't decide either way.
Well, there is a good reason why multiple people will report a post. They do not wish for the TRUTH to be heard.
I have had posts deleted where the OP and PALS start discussing me and making provably false statements that they claim bring me/my posts On topic and relevant. Then when I challenge them to produce evidence of these false claims and then myself present only observable/factual events that demonstrate THEY are relevant and on topic NOT me....Boom. My posts are deleted and their posts continue to discuss me and my posts in a provably false light in their safe misleading echo chamber that mods have allowed them to create. It is net negative and misleading.
I think it should be transparent which mod deleted which post. So they can be brought to debate this in public. If they are found to be making consistent politically based judgement calls that are not objective and allow the promulgate false information to bolster these political (they themselves ascribe to) views then they must be removed.
Mods need to objectively assess each post in the context of which it was presented. The point of the board is to reach the optimal solution/conclusion/action based on objective evaluation of all relevant material and input from ALL members.
I get called a troll and a liar and a shit poster and a hater (for no reason) and insane. YET i challenge the entire board to bring forth one false thing i have said or something they can demonstrate is wrong ....they can produce NOTHING. I ask them to present any case here that demonstrates I seek anything other than a transparent and fair system for all, where everyone gets equal treatment.... Again they are unable to present ANYTHING to substantiate any of their FALSE claims.
After having said ALL of that I will still say the moderation here is better than 99% of other boards and still if you make a clear point you have a good chance the post will remain. Free speech is not under threat from an admin level nearly like it is from the systems of control that slipped in beneath admin level.
TLDR
Mods doing 8/10 job here still but room for improvements and must not be swayed by "friends" political views to create echo chambers regardless of how much squealing and appealing from these crooks in DT and merit sources that takes place. Suchmoon is the worst. She even said she took me off ignore to target my posts for deletion. Next moment I had about 8 deletes.
Yes some posts that are on topic and relevant with important information (if you want the truth) is at times deleted.
Taking into consideration the amount of snitchery here (some needed to control the swarms) i guess there is not hours to pour over each post and the context to make 100% correct decision so some errors will always happen.
Yes I agree sometimes I wander off topic strictly but it will always be on topic to some degree so some of my posts can be debated to be ripe for deletion...... why though are others who are arguing with me or started off the argument allowed to have their posts remain there still.
Anyway mods are NOT the main worry for free speech here right now. Moderation of this board has always been excellent let's keep it that way.
