There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Crypto go kill naira the more if adopted officially. Check majority of us wey sabi crypto no get fiat again. Only when we want buy something, we go convert coin to fiat and buy. This means that if crypto is officially adopted, naira utility will reduce drastically and will make the value of naira to further crash.

No be so e go be if we understand crypto very well as against fiat. Nigeria case no follow for comparison because no be crypto deh crash naira. Na over dependence on importation deh weaken our naira. We always buy dollar or other foreign currencies to bring in goods here. Na the main thing weh deh cause our money to deh worthless. If government like make them completely kill bitcoin for Nigeria, the naira go continue to deh crash until importation is fixed. Na so them accuse Aboki FX say na them make dollar deh rise and closed their site. That was when dollar dey exchange around 450/$ self. Today we know how much exchange rate deh. This government no serious at all.

If you read wetin I write carefully, you go understand say, I no talk say na crypto dey make Naira crash. Me I know why naira dey crash and your importation claim na one of them. But wetin I dey let you understand be sey, the naira as e day now is too weak and fragile. Wetin dey give am small backup e dey use dey survive na base on say na our legal tender. No matter how e crash reach, we go deh use am because na our own. But for this naira condition now, if you legalise another means to do international trade without using the said naira, forget am, naira go cast. Na my point be that.

Well this na one of my small thoughts, this isn’t a professional thought or one that is coming from an expert, but guy we know the high level of piracy in Nigeria and beyond. Now we have the seen coming of NFT, this aspect of crypto-currency don open many opportunities, so I go Dey speak in regards schools, how e go be say text books and handout are ran via NFT format? I personally know how many text books I don’t buy especially those from Nigerian authors that are pirated, photocopied and what have you, so do you think having a text book in NFT format can help reduce the high rate of piracy even if it’s to the nearest minimum.

Nope, knowledge is a continuous process, no inventor ever completed his own experiments, some died along the way, some ran out of ideas, so someone took it off and gave acknowledgement to the first inventor, so books and anything related to it are all copy and paste from one source to the next, there is no book / text without reference, even story books nowadays have reference, the NFT is more of a signed original document that is only owned or unique from others

example, consider the Bitcoin whitepaper. Sotoshi used his knowledge from other failed electronic currencies in the past to build bitcoin, and he also mentioned them in the whitepaper...

Take the example of Wright brothers, they never made an Airbus 380 nor any fighter jet like F-16. They just gave a shaddy concept that human can fly and that's taken forward by coming generations to build today's modern jet and airplane.

Every dead body on Mt. Everest was once a highly motivated person so maybe calm down.

No in my opinion too. There can be several replica of a textbook even if there are only unique ones with its tokens and private key to the tokens, but that does not stop others from pirating the originals ones, make students buy it because they have low price.

Perfer example is boredApe and Cryptopunks NFTs, when people discover say the price of the original one has gone up they started replicating/duplicating/editing the original art to sell it cheaper while the original one still exists.

Correct talk. If authors them begin go the way of NFT it will put a stamp and end to continuation or revised edition to written works. E no go good. And I agree with you on that say people often deh get ideas from the works weh others them do. If not because of that Satoshi for no fit push bitcoin establishment as e come be today. But I believe say in time to come some authors go want to try this NFT thing and once e pays off, others will follow up.

I am not good in NFT but I think you are correct. But even the textbook can be pirated, selling it without paying in NFT but just in fiat or in fungible cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.

I still remember my university years, even some students (although just very few of them) went to the length of making photocopy of a whole textbook because of achieving the same aim with very low amount of money.

When the main textbook for my department cost around ₦15000 that time, people bought the pirated copy at around ₦5000 with well design but not hardcover like the original. To hell with NFT for such people that want to achieve the same aim with low cost. After 4 or 5 years, they are done with school and graduate.

But to pleasing to those that want quality, it actually worths it.

We know how Nigerians are thinking, most students are buying the low cost copy. But to be sincere, with low cost, they are of good design. Not the photocopy ones, that is crazy.

I am not supporting pirated copies, but this is what is actually happening and no pressure because the original copies are mostly from outside the country for most textbooks. Not primary and secondary schools, I focus this on universities and other tertiary learning institutions.

Are you still buying the dip, brave and strong-hearted movement? Or the dip has gotten dipper and dipper it's been a fantastic year for short term traders they have been making a lot of profits from buying and selling bitcoins since the beginning of the year, bitcoin has been forming a beautiful passive income steps and at the same time it's been a terrible year for short term altcoin traders

My point is, are you buying dipper or taking a loss in order to enjoy your life?

Me: I sold my ADA at a loss to enjoy life because it's been a difficult year!!

Edit:
~snip~.
Copyright rules in Nigeria is not as strict as it is in other countries, you barely see people penalize for it so I see reason why most students photocopy textbooks.

True, outside our dear country 9ja, copyright rules dey stricter, you fit enter prison sake of say you dey play copywrited music in a public place, say your vehicle... that's why you notice that abroad, they are mostly tuned in to their radio stations. If na so dem dey run am for Naija here, na prison many of us for dun dey.

We know how Nigerians are thinking, most students are buying the low cost copy. But to be sincere, with low cost, they are of good design. Not the photocopy ones, that is crazy.
Do you think our economy, that is the fact that some students in school do not have money enough to purchase the original copy, has a part to play in why students buy the low cost one?

Do you think it is also an indication of how education has lost value in the country, say students nor dey reason buy better textbook because they don't use it, and Universities bookshops and lecturers sell low cost textbooks to student because majority don't read it?

My point is, are you buying dipper or taking a loss in order to enjoy your life?

Me: I sold my ADA at a loss to enjoy life because it's been a difficult year!!

Baba you go feel bad about selling your ADA in loss o in few months to come when everything stew again. Na so we deh see this type of thing, no be today e deh happen. I still deh hold. I no want to sell now.

Copyright rules in Nigeria is not as strict as it is in other countries, you barely see people penalize for it so I see reason why most students photocopy textbooks.

Na so. Make we imagine say the way this forum deh take handle copyright issue na so 9ja deh take handle its own copyright issue, everywhere for don catch fire and people go sit up fast fast.

If you read wetin I write carefully, you go understand say, I no talk say na crypto dey make Naira crash. Me I know why naira dey crash and your importation claim na one of them.

I understand wetin you put there and I used that opportunity to make that clarification clearer. Long talk no deh the matter unto that. But the main thing be say make we too no deh use our own hand deh spoil crypto like say na him deh cause 9ja problem for naira. Bad press follow for wetin deh spoil crypto and we no suppose deh help government condemn crypto when we know say na lie them deh talk.
E depend on how you dey see the matter shaa. I no condem crypto for anywhere. I talk say if Nigeria make Bitcoin legal tender today, e go help crash naira finish the one wey remain and I give you my reasons.
Before crypto come, naira don dey exist. Many of our parents wey be civil servants dey recieve salary for naira, many of our brothers wey dey Ariaria, Oshodi, Onitsha etc dey use naira do business, our daily livelihood depends on naira. If anything happen to naira e go affect everybody for the country.
So, make crypto dey him own wey, make our naira dey him own. If competition dey between crypto and naira, na me be the last person here wey go talk say make crypto win.
E depends on the kind personality you be shaa, but even of Satoshi appear here today I go still talk am for him face.
Make both crypto and naira co-exist,  na em be true definition of liberty. I no fit stand up say wetin one boy wey I no know where him from create come kill wetin the whole country get.

E get better thing weh you talk concerning say make both crypto and naira deh co-exist, na true be that and I no think anybody go say na lie. For crypto to survive for 9ja naira must stand side by side with am.

Senior man no issues, you never talk off record and I no dey vex, besides me dey hardly vex. Based on the personality mata, ah sorry if you no understand wetin I mean. You know say sometimes person fit not express himself complete for dis brokin we dey knack. Or I fit express well but the man for the other end no too catch am well.
Yea, I like as me and you don land for the same ground. Make naira and crypto co-exist and make Nigeria no rush make bitcoin legal tender. Our problem no be to make bitcoin legal tender. If our leaders fit free hands make we trade bitcoin with bank, p2p and anyhow we want, e dey ok for us.

If you check well, people wey dey do this legal tender something na small countries, one sef no get their own fiat. Make oyibo dey play their game. Anyday major European countries or USA make bitcoin legal tender, we as Africa giants we go follow.
But make you try teach your people about bitcoin and crypto because na clear future e be. Nobody know belle wey carry king. E fit later play out say na em go be the future financial system of the world. I no lie you, blockchain too strong.
