We should be realistic here. What I could deduce from what you wrote as the only crime of PO is that he didn't pay minimum wage. As much as I don't see it as a capital crime, I still can't verify the claim, I only read stories which might be true or not. Can you now compare him with the corrupt opponents with track records of corrupt evil dealings and manipulations? Common!!! I think it is time we Nigerians think and learn from the past.

I will be factual now, among the three front liners, PO is the only person a sensible Nigerian should be looking towards.

1. Southeast has never been there before (Unity, Fairness, Equity and Sense of belonging). Are they not Nigerians?
2. Financial clean record (Void of corruption). Can the other two beat their chests that they are not corrupt? Do we want another corrupt leader?
3. Do we want another Fulani/Northerner after 8 yesterdays of difficulties and backwardness in Nigeria?
4. Intellectual, Age, Vibrancy, and Healthwise, PO is the best.
5. Being in control: Many of our leaders can't exercise their full authority because of some CABAs. That's the truth because of familiarity, they know each other's secrets and many had even made dangerous oaths and covenants before getting to power. So they can't say No to some people, many are controlling them. In the case of PO, he's in a lesser party that he's a Boss, they need him and they can't control him or subject him to what he can't say No to.

  @ Igehhh In Nigeria, it is had to see who is not corrupt even me and you we are corrupt. What I mean is that 90% of Nigerians are corrupt due to the way we grew up in the society, that is why there is a say that say your environment will influence you. Corruption has different degrees, some do it because is their habit and some do it because they are lured into corruption. Peter Obi is corrupt fine but not to the level of Atiku and Tinubu.
 
Peter Obi when he was the governor of Anambra state he left huge amount of money in the state account when he left,meaning he saved the states money instead of mismanaging it. Atiku during his time as Vice President of Nigeria, he sold Nigeria property and had problem with his Boss. Tinubu used Lagos money to build houses everywhere in Lagos disguising it is government property but after eight years,he claimed everything to be his own,now he is the richest landlord in Lagos.

The situation that Nigeria is now,the country needs someone who can manage the county resources properly and not lavishing it. The governments present and past have used the name of Nigeria to more money and acquire riches for themselves and their families,how will all these debt be paid now. Nigeria is suffering from mismanagement of country's funds and resources combined with nepotism government.

How Peter Obi's Government will Solve Nigeria's Problem When Elected....

1) Security:
a) Encourage further Privatization of Security Services.
b) Encourage regional/State Policing - every state should be allowed to control its own police department.
c) Directly oversee the phasing out of old military equipment and the purchase of modern military equipment
d) Create a Nigerian Central Intelligence Agency - N-CIA from the Nigerian security cluster. Draft and militarize skilled Ethical hackers, technologists, secret intelligence officers into the newly formed Central Intelligence Agency and charge them with the responsibility of gathering security intelligence. No bomb should ever go off in Nigeria without the N-CIA having pre-knowledge of the bomb.
e) Spend more money on intelligence gathering and surveillance - all federal roads should be Lit 247 with solar street lights and under 247 CCTV surveillance. Take off the police from the highways and monitor the highways with powerful AI cameras. (my company has done this in South Africa).
f) prioritize salary Payment, promotion and rewards for security officers. The least officer should be able to own a decent home and a car. Banks should be tasked to prioritise giving home and student loans to police officers and members of their family who have good service records. A blockchain enabled system of rating officers based on conduct , performance etc should be developed.
g) Encourage legislature to make law which makes stealing security funds a capital offence.
h) Automate processes and systems in the Ministry of Defence to discourage corruption and increase efficiency.

2. Health
a) Encourage and boost the medical insurance industry
b) Make it easy for investors who are not medical doctors to build and own hospitals which will be run by doctors and health professionals. Currently, most Private hospitals are owned by doctors. Hospitals should be owned by business people, managed by business people but staffed by medical professionals.

c) Make the healthcare industry both a tourism destination for offshore patients and an investment opportunity for local and foreign investors.

d) All government hospitals should be free to all citizens who earn below N100, 000 a month.
e) legalize necessary abortion to discourage young girls from patronizing quacks. The emphasis is on NECESSARY. For example, when a girl falls pregnant from a rape incident, what does she do with the unwanted baby?

f) Reform the pharmaceutical industry
g) criminalize the sale of prescription medication over the counter. This is one of the major factors in the increase of kidney failure epidemic in Nigeria.

h) Legalize Cannabis for medical use. Emphasis on MEDICAL USE.

3. Economy/Labor:
a) identify and boost sectors which are major employers of low skill labor.....
Examples of such sectors are the private security industry, agriculture, construction, and domestic work sectors.
b) Regulate labor to favor and dignify all employees and criminalize inhumane treatment of employees. This will encourage more people to take up odd jobs without fear of inhumane treatments by their bosses. A domestic worker in South Africa is respected and can sue her employer but does a househelp in Nigeria have such powers? We need to give power to the commonest of people in our society.
c) Build an Innovation Hub in all Local Government Areas across the country and make it free and helpful to citizens with creative technologies and solutions in critical sectors of the economy. Encourage FinTech and Blockchain development in the hubs.
d) Super-Tax the super rich and very rich religious organizations who sell physical products and services.
e) Encourage local manufacturers
f) Boost economic relationship with China. Find a way to enter BRICS to become BRINCS where N stands for Nigeria.
g) Transit from an oil based economy to a Human resource driven economy by massively investing in our human capital.
