We should be frank. What was the reason of going to school at the initial stage? I believed every parents sent their children to school and secure a befitting job in future. I understand your frustrations but Nigeria doesn't have the capacity to take care of her citizens. When those hand picking was ongoing by companies, we had less citizens going to school and they had limited sources to make selection from. Also then the school system wasn't as corrupt as it's now,  meaning if you saw someone that was marked to be top of their classes then truely he/she did deserve that accolades unlike now that corruption has taken over the school system that even to get admitted into the school system can be bought and your way out too can also be bought.

Secondly the funniest part of it is that the schools are no longer interested to know if the students are fully qualified to past out through the academic system or not, all the knows is to issues out certificate to those students after finding their way out. Now let say the levels of illiteracy is increasing on a daily basis, I could remembered last few years ago I went to Zenith Bank at Miles 2 in Ikoku precisely, just within the mechanic village there inside the bank a young looking and pretty Corp member came to me and said I should help her fill out a deposit form, she called the name of the receiver also called out the account number which I did help her out. After I finished she said thank you sir but to me it looks so embarrassing seeing a NYSC member who can't just formally fills out a form. Then I asked myself how did she graduated from school and even wearing the NYSC uniform, I was like she said sir you won't understand and she quickly ran to deposit. Immediately something came to my mind,  this could be one of those who graduated with their bodies and money.

Looking at her, in normal circumstances if I happened to called her on the way she might not give me attention but she secretly came to me for help inside bank without raising her voice much or even making the next person to understand what we were doing.

So in summary, our country is truly backwards and should calls for academic sanitization, meaning people has to read and graduate with what they merits or should repeat and make sure they are well educated properly before issuing out certificate to them in other not to tarnished the school reputations, It's called school so they are meant to be educated before graduating any of them.
