There are many types of fiat out there and unfortunately, not all of them will be supported by gambling sites. Blockchain technology is a big help for the online gambling sites because most countries online gambling sites considered as illegal, that is why there are now only few gambling sites that are active, and most of it accepts cryptocurrency and bitcoin because they could play with it without the track of the government. One of the problems of gambling before was distrust and manipulation . However,  the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies now enabled us to create that trust and people now gambling with free mind because of the transparent nature of blockchain technology.  I think blockchain technology is helping gambling industry more than any other sectors.
