I think why steemit suddenly on the top price and increase above 150% because today is the last day for steemit hard fork and every one hold steemin in Binance exchange will get hive coin free, compare is 1 steem earn 1 hive coin and will listed on Binance exchange at the several time later.

well, about this hard fork , i already read about it, its no more than justin sun steem drama. For this hard fork, one key thing will change: The tokens from the original development fund controlled by Steemit will not be carried over to the new chain. Everyone else's will be ported over, and In the end, if not enough people support those tokens, they become worthless,of course Binance, Huobi and Poloniex who support hard fork steem are mostly owned by Justin Sun himself.

So glad I never really invested in STEEM. I mean, I actually spent a lot of my life on that bloody blogging platform creating original stuff but as soon as I saw how so many scammers and bots were gaming the system I gave up. And then now this. Why are all the rich guys in crypto and making it such a toxic environment?

I dunno, but the only thing i know is justin sun is crazy man with the crazy idea, he even call his creatation is no rather than shitcoin.
Firstly i saw the news about justin bought STEEM i was thinking what going on ? But after i read that news , oh come on , he just create a new game.

So, we probably can see some correlational price movements just like TRON and STEEM? Or even some of the projects that under by Justin Tron, just like the BitTorrent?
Because probably, it will become a pump and dump coins, as like what we saw on BitTorrent and Tron, a very huge pump and dump the coin, especially at the early age of BitTorrent altcoin.

I don't agree if you are saying those exchange sites owned by justin but it looks like there was a conspiracy behind them all. As far as i know, if binance is the one who has already helped justin to buy steem. I guess if justing will not try to buy something without even a little plan to get the money from there. I expect if we will see more dump rather than pump in the future.
There will be so many people getting trapped on the hive token.

I dont say justin owning all of voting on these exchange , i just say its mostly have by justin sun it self , oh come on buddy , u know exactly how exchange market works, one more thing,justin sun also investor on new poloniex.

Steem Community Resists Takeover, Hard Fork Launches Hive Network

The network split that was scheduled for Friday, March 20, successfully took place at around 10.30AM CET, and the market already seems to be reacting to the news, as the price of STEEM token decreased by over 20% to around $0.23 as of press time. Hive is an exact code fork of the Steem blockchain, although the platform will undergo various alterations based on community feedback.

Although steem ended its glory quickly but that moment is wonderful and enough time for investors, if the investor knows how to optimize the event, the profits are huge, investment just need such moments. You may not appreciate Steem and the pump this time but as someone who didn't like Steem, I had a different perspective on it, it's not so failed as I thought, maybe many other altcoins in the market have a better position but if another similar event happened, another moment, I wouldn't hesitate to invest in Steem, at least it proved it was worth

Will steem survive competition of Hive? Or will get forgotten?  I am sure Steem already had a lot of competitors, but none was such a copy as is Hive.

That was a very very weird week for steem, it could be about Justin or it could be about corona or it could be about economy but in the end it is clear that steem had the weirdest week between all of crypto. When everything else was going down it went up like crazy, peaked at 0.41 and that is HUGE considering everything, on top of that they were 0.12!! so that was almost a x4 increase just couple days ago, it is insane.

However when you look at it it is 0.18 now, its still a 50% increase so we can't say that its gone down too much, if you bought steem in last few days sure you might have lost a lot of money but at the same time if you didn't and you have hold it for at least 4-5 days that means you would make 50% profit AT LEAST and that is really all anyone can ask during this period.

I predict that the Hive community will go back to Steem if without support from exchanges because Hive might decline in popularity.

Lol there was no a good position in steem market right now and anything is involving a very big risk caused by those who have already participated in the hive airdrop will try to speculate about the future of hive token. I guess there will be a massive selling when they are facing the new market for the hive token. This scheme has already repeated so many times.

Bitcoin makes it difficult for other Altcoins to bounce back including STEEM because I think it's hard for this coin to return to the highest value and STEEM currently ranges between $ 0.13. recently has been an unexpected downturn in the market and it looks like STEEM won't be able to survive if BTC prices down touch $3K.

i considered steem as a good quality coin compare to other coins that are come and go so i dont believe on you when you say this coin wont survive  . it maybe true that when btc drop other coins gets affected too but not to the point that other coins have been dragged too much  . other coins have thier own lives too and not totally depending on btc   . in the case of steem , steem is one of the coin that has a working product or have an active platform like blogging with a twist as its paying users  . it has a good comunity with lots of supporters so rising is possible for this coin

This isnt only the one who do shows up some gradual increase but doesnt mean that these projects would make a uturn. There are other coins such us Cardano(ADA)

which do had also some significant movements that might give out some spark to some on investing to it but it wouldnt be in my case.You can risk though but dont go all in.

There were several updates and happenings but im not sure on why i cant trust up alts nowadays.

I lost faith in STEEM/Steemit once the admins implemented annoying banner ads. It seemed as if they were trying to squeeze the last few pennies out of the platform before it went to hell.

The scandals surrounding Justin Sun just reaffirmed my opinion.

The coin have been in existing for so long but still not putting all in the coin is a wise decision and i think major reason why the coin is inadequacy in the aspect of utility and value is because of the social concept the team based the coin on.
From my ending, i dont see any reason in invest in the coin when i can possibly earn it.
