I thought I was actually being rather generous with that one. I'm absolutely not bearish and believe that every Bitcoin bear is either dishonest (e.g. invested elsewhere and spreading malicious propaganda), ignorant or outright stupid (or a combination of those three). Those three classifications are enough to cover every Bitcoin bear that you've ever met. I wasn't expecting all the positive unforeseen developments to happen before this summer (a full year before the halving).

Well there's still 16 days to go guys While it would make absolutely no sense for Bitcoin to break below USD 6000,- until then, Bitcoin's market behaviour rarely ever makes sense.

It's been making more sense lately and less likely to make a dramatic swing in either direction due to bad/good news.
I must not forget to insert this every once in a while. I'm like a witness.

I largely agree with you, but Bitcoin always seems just one good or bad day away from switching into crazy gear. Admittedly crazy gear has a slight upwards bias though

It seems almost within reach, doesn't it? USD 9000,- appears to be a tough one to crack first though.

SPQRCoin will be the happiest if your chart's right. I'm not sure that it'll stay very long at $9k IF it sees another push for it this month though. 2 and a half weeks, and 3 weekends (the busiest periods for the bulls so far), if they make it to 9k this time they won't let it slide down so quickly. So we might even get a winner at a new 2019 high.

I did not change the trendline that I've made, unexpectedly the price moved up so fast
it looks like SPQRCoin and Paashaas are the strongest candidates

I missed this contest but I really doubt I would have been anywhere near the mark when asked to guess a long time beforehand like this.   Its exceeded the expectations of quite a few, probably the majority of observers and speculators even.

Right now I'm with roy on this one, I think its got ahead of itself.    People are saying 10k but I dont buy the idea that it moves straight up without alot of force behind it, a good technical move often matches the news for that reason.
I have price right now hitting the underside of a previous uptrend, it should pull back some.   If it pulls back and confirms lower in a stable way then thats bullish, ironically the sell is where the real strength is realised and I guess the smart players pick it up for the next move upwards after that. 
   I dont think its moving higher at this point so easily,  the news on Iran and oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz is a big event but Im not sure its creating volume for BTC exactly



I relate what could be the near term high to the previous high on June 7th at 8084, wasnt a big pull back after that but its just the same trend top in action.    No position from me, I have to wait till early Monday anyhow

Four days since I last thought that if 9k was broken, it would not only hold but we'd see 5-digit valuations... I don't think -- barring a sudden dip, unexplained as always -- Shinpak will get any joy actually with only 2 weeks left, especially when 29 and 30 are Sat/Sunday.

Bulls have been nothing but awake almost every weekend since April, even if 28th sees it below 9k, we'll get a few of them pumping feverishly back up on Sunday.
