I do agree with you that we should be more concerned about the adoption of cryptocurrency right now more than anything. But in the aspect of falling prices, you may not blame those selling off some of their coins. Some projects have gone completely dead and show no sign of recovery.

Price is everything, there was a lot of platforms have created their own product but they can't even bring the price to the moon. Price gives us a clue about how valuable that product is and that's why if the price is really important thing in the cryptocurrency

For an investors and traders it is .  Majority of these people are in for the profit.  You and I included probably.  Honestly, I have been around in cryptocurrency for sometime now and I have never used any of the technology these coins or token is offering, except for their wallet of course.  So technology?? I bet only company who see this thing worthy will use it.
