Even if you decided to make an ANN thread for a fun it is not ethic to fool others with fake photos. You deserve the words said by other forum members.

well I havent see them negate that they use internet picture of people, doesn't mean it to be a scam.

So far dev have been very helpful with me on discord setting up my wallet. I do believe what they told, they are here to learn,I guess you must have live 2014 to know some coin come from no where and aren't scam.(monero, dash etc)

For the record/Lite haters:

This was from our original/first annoucement "To avoid conflict of interest with our current employer, will be remain pseudonymous."

And we never had an ICO. Just wanted to clarify these important details as this project was unfairly targeted & labeled by trigger-happy Scam Alerters.

Anyhow, we have been moving along nicely. As intended, its been fun. Also, we except binaries very soon for all major platforms.

In addition, we have a few exchanges that are planning to list LITE.

So come join our growing Discord https://discord.gg/WS52Az and grab a laptop to mine some blocks.

99% of all LITE are yet to be mined.

And furthermore, can you prove we don't have a connection or permission to use any photo we want.

For starters, its clearly states on the website that this project is for FUN not financial gain and the team wants to keep pseudo-anonymity for career purposes.

So your claims are unfounded and you are just getting pleasure from bashing honest experimentation from crypto fans who want to participate in the community.

This is why one of the reasons mass adoption is far away.
Yo dickhead !
Can you prove you have their permission ?

We have some very exciting developments to annouce in the Litebeam community:

1) Project making signfiicant progress on developing binanries (Windows - coming soon) - Linux released today at https://litebeam.org

2) Researching new Proof of Work - RandomX

3) Roughly 99% of all LITE is still availabe to be mined from a laptop or MacBook. Contrary to popular belief, we DID NOT have an ICO.

4) Working on a whitepaper to present a "Proof of Location" system that could realize Satoshi's vision of true peer to peer digital cash.

It is an exciting concept but still very much just an idea at this point. It concerns mobile devices, GPS & a new distribution model for coins.

Stay tuned to all things happening in crypto and our community at https://discord.gg/WS52Az

p.s. We have been working all weekend with community members & troubleshooting Windows mining. We are dedicated to the success of this project!!  Smiley

Great news! Project is going strong and we still have CPU mining with everyday hardware (desktop/laptop).

No need for expensive or specialized hardware to grab some of the hottest privacy (MimbleWimble) tech in crypto.

Also, we are helping our community mine LITE for free by using: https://www.vultr.com/promo/try50/

Our linux binaries are ready to go: http://litebeam.org/Litebeam_Linux.tar

Drop by our growing community or just say "Hi!"

Our project has been unfairly villified.

We simply forked Beam without the founder's reward. The photos on website were labled "pseudonymous" on launch and since have been removed and we migrated to new hosting solution.

To recap developments since launch:

1) NO ICO or DEV BLOCK FEES

2) ENGAGED & GROWING COMMUNITY

3) TRANSITIONED FROM CPU TO GPU MINING

We are furtherest from a scam, never sold ANY COINS to ANYONE and just released a GPU GUI Miner for Windows!

We have easiest to use cypto and best wallet in the space.

Come see for yourself: https://discord.gg/kga9sgg

Take Care!

It wasn't completely unfair, IMHO. You've used photos of other people without their permission.

Do you want to stay anonymous? No problem! Just don't try to trick people to think you're someone else, please.

Thanks for not using the photos anymore, much appreciated.

3) TRANSITIONED FROM CPU TO GPU MINING

Why the sudden change? I quite liked the idea of CPU only, it made litebeam a bit different to other "fun" projects. There's much more competition in the GPU field.

RandomX has been mentioned earlier, may I know why it's NoGo any more, please?
