I personally don't believe that bounty would be going into extinction anytime soon. This is because of the merits that projects gets from bounties. Bounty hunters ensures that projects gets maximum publicity and this is very important for the success of the project, whether during ICO or IEO.

If we assume that there won't be bounty campaigns anymore, what will the projects do to reach out to their target audience?

There are some good reasons to believe IEOs and bounties can coexist. I think the only restriction is in regulated, security offerings though.
