I have the same experience, just because everyone in the community said that those shitcoins are potential. So I try to buy some of it and finally I got nothing from it except loss my money. I have learned from my mistake and never do that again, never believe the hype on the community, at least if I want to trade on shitcoins I must be doing it based on my analytics

It sounds like a pump and dump group where telling you what to buy and when to buy, well this is too risky and the result will always be like this if you continue to depend to anyone. Shitcoins will always dump even if pumps a little there is no way for shitcoins to rise higher except because of manipulators. Invest on the btc, eth, xrp, ltc and you have nothing to worry.

I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

 

That's true, nowdays there is a lot of cryptocurrencies in the market, like maybe more than 3000 cryptos and there is only few people who made a huge profit from this coin, which you called them "shitcoins". Just they invested in the right time and cashout in the right time too, Maybe you can call that "luck" or maybe "people with a high knowledge about the market moves", but yeah those shitcoin can be also profitable for anyone. Personally, I didn't get a high profit from other crypto, I'm good with bitcoin right now, in the past few months I get also a high profit from IOST, but now I'm just holding my bitcoin and make some trades.

That's the risk you have to take when dealing with those shit coins. You are at your own expense buddy, you already know that is shit and yet you manage to gamble some of your money into it. Lesson learned the hard way.

This is not a good option, but it is an opportunity to help us quickly increase the amount of money we own many times in a short time. For the Shit-coin it is easy to increase many times as liquidity is solved and some big investors are investing in it in a short time.

Yeah shitcoins can instantly increase the amount of your money but behind this fact you also have high risk to lose your money too. If you don't have your own fundamental analysis from those shitcoins it is not recommended to trade them.

Even experienced people are not always able to capitalize on such coins , the risks are great , but I think if you find a good entry point to the coin you can do x2 for a couple of minutes !

Yes playing safe is good but one can still use shit coins to grow your portfolio because it can give crazy profits if you know when to enter and when to opt out. I have done this many times and the probability of getting something out from them through my non greedy smart decision was more than what I expected.

When you have "realized" that means you have learned, and from your post i can see that you are now pretty much aware of market and these shitcoins.
Altcoins investment always involve high risk than BTC investment so if you really want to invest in altcoins you should need to analyze briefly before choosing it.

And be satisfied if you have made nice gains and take some money off the table. Perhaps reinvest it in another coin you think could do the same.

Oh I don't gamble when it comes to making investment. Buying shitcoins waiting for lambo is gambling. I would rather buy a coin with future potential, even if the price dips, I'm sure someday development news will bring an uptrend. It's better you hold BTC, ETH than getting in a shitcoin due to FOMO.

It's not a matter of not investing on new coins, but a matter of setting up your portfolio right. You can still invetment on those new coins because those coins offer much better profit. However, you should still have your fundamentally strong coins in your portfolio as your bread and butter.

Your main portfolio should be the top coins in the market and don't pour too much in new coins or those coming from ICO the market is so bad that even a new coin that can be considered a good project will not have a competitive price when it the market the first time.

By this statement, you definitely have not had good experiences with highly speculative projects, but this can make you better and understand that Shitcoins are in this category because they provide nothing more than speculation. The first step is to avoid chase in sudden valuations and buy Shittokens or Shitcoins in the back and never in tops, unless you're good at retrace and things like that, but the ideal is to buy when no one wants.

this sounds like fomo, new coins are difficult to surprise when entering an exchange. moreover the tokens from ICO, most even dumps are far from ICO prices. Except for new IEO binance coins like BTT, this is more popular and promising.

Majority of us here had the same experience, this is the reason why our main portfolio should only be the top coins in the market, you can add ICO coin but do not expect much from the current market condition, it's true value will only show up after many months or when the market improves and investors starts looking for new promising coins to buy.

There is no sure profit in shitcoin. It's pure gambling because you don't know if it will give you profit once you bought it. Also some shitcoin has no product to serve. They only do it just to get money from investor and become idle in their coins.

To be frank, i really lost 60% of my investment hoping on a coin newly launched. I spent time in analyzing the project and the team details. Waiting for few weeks watching the growth but at last i lost. The value drastically gone down on the next day i bought the coin.

I'm not sure your coin is really dead, it's only a matter of time.
I recommend that you continue to monitor the development of your tokens and support the project, after the roadmap runs still hope.
