C'mon guys, what are you picks for today? I have: Croatia ML, Northern Ireland vs Germany over 2.5, and Poland vs Austria over 1.5.

Croatia to win is a no brainer IMO. I was gonna go with BTTS with Northern Ireland, but then I saw their past fixtures and they haven't played against a decent NT since the qualifiers started, so they might struggle a lot against the germans. For the last game, i went with total goals rather than FT result since I feel like the game could go either way, Austria are in form, but Poland have the home advantage and are hungry for a win after losing against Slovenia last friday...Surely we're gonna see some goals in this match:-X

I have decided to stick with halftime bets, The odds ML and overs doen't look really worthy to me. I picked Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Croatia all to win at halftime for an odds of 7.73.
Hopefully, I'll get lucky this time.

That is actually their backup keeper who got the chance to play today because their first choice keeper was quite bad in their last game. At least that is what our commentators are saying

I'm not seeing the live match anyway, just catching up with scores and comments on flashscore. And from the statistics listed there, Croatia could have led by 3 goals before the halftime whistle. Perhaps, they can add 1 or 2 more goals in the 2nd half.

Georgia was a shock too, but glad I didn't bet, it makes me feel shitty when the underdog draws, because I hardly bet on draw/handicap.

That is how Croatia played most of their matches after world cup. I am thinking this is more like our reality at the moment than the performance against Slovakia. There is also a problem if our mentality, we will always play better against top teams.

Azerbaijan actually scored 2 goals, which were correctly disallowed for offside before the regular one and that should have been the wake up call for us. We could say that Croatia was hanging by the thread in the second half and Dalic probably should have changed some players before we conceded. As always, it is easy to be general after the battle.

Well deserved point for Azerbaijan for sure. Too bad their only point in the qualifiers had to come today. I was also suckered by our performance against Slovakia and lost my ticket today on this match.

I just read how EURO 2020 works with regards to qualification and with regards to the final phase and they made a huge mess.

There are 55 teams participating in the group phase and 20 + 4 for a total of 24 teams will go to the final phase.

The teams qualified are the first 2 of each group, some are from 5 (those with the best placed at the last Nation's League) and others from 6. The last 4 teams that qualify are the best third on all 10 groups.



From these 24 qualified teams to the final phase 6 groups of 4 are created where they will pass the first 2 of each group and still the best 4 thirds.

When do they understand that this way where the best thirds will go to the end is the best way to create the "stitch-up"?

All this does not make sense.


They need to do a better job with only a multiplier of the number 2 as team qualified.

Germany did win their game, just that they didn't win as at when you wanted them to(first half)  
And judging with the opponents the faced, they ought to have taken the lead in the first half, but football goes like this most times.
I find it very difficult to bet on international games, I just enjoy the games and wait for the league matches to commence, I can't wait for the weekend, I have booked my bets already.

Just three days more and we are back to business as usual.

And holy heavens knows I just cannot wait, call me unpatriotic, but this international games bore me to death, and I think it's the same for 80% of us.
I try my best though to support my country when they play, but that's as far as I do go, I almost do forget about football during this period.

I'll be looking forward to the Norwich Vs City game, on paper it looks well in favor of City as always, but Norwich have proven this season that they are a good side, I think BTTS would work here.
