It's not restricted where I live but it seems businesses are slow to adopt Bitcoin payments.

Crypto payments will explode once more governments start to allow for taxes in crypto etc. We havent's seen nothing yet. It'll be a happy new world of convenience to live in.

Government had a big role to play in adoption and the usage of bitcoin its quite interesting to see a lot of organisations, institutions etc accepting bitcoin as a means of payment.
The signs is very obvious that bitcoin had come to stay and will enjoy massive patronage in the future in as much the government allows it without any ban and regulations.
If most of the restrictions is removed then the popularity of bitcoin will increase thus paves way for its adoption  as a means of payment.

For me, bitcoin helps me a lot in my financial purpose. By bitcoin, i can able to exchange it to my fiat currency. I can use it for my payment method. I am able to recharge my mobile recharge with bitcoin. I can buy gift card by the help of bitcoin also.

Slowly but surely bitcoin is going mainstream and the things you can buy with it increases as well over time. Back then, there are only limited vendors who accept btc for their services and products. Now, some large companies are accepting not just btc but other crypto coins like ethereum and litecoin.

Yes, crypto is everywhere, not even in the online marketplace, but there are also roadside shops. But unfortunately, currently there are still not many who use this bitcoin as a payment, only in the online store.

But I think if bitcoin is a payment on one of the biggest platforms like Amazon, Apple, etc. maybe it will be more value in terms of price

I can buy refills for the cell phone too but, I still do that by online and make the order via web, and then I send the amount. But to use for buying some product in store offline, I am afraid I cannot do that because the offline store doesn't know about bitcoin. But I find that in a local online store, I can buy with bitcoin, bch, and litecoin. But I never try that because I still comfort to buy using fiat

I agree. This is a matter of time. Soon the whole world will use cryptocurrency to pay for dinner at a restaurant or buy a car. But since the government does not contribute to this, then you need to wait for the global implementation.

It is wonderful to see that crypto currency is being accepted as a payment method.
It just shows that we could use crypto as a regular currency in the future and pay almost everything with it.

Bitcoin has been already a payment method for a long now.though it has limited areas but yet available

I also just want to add up that here in the Philippines we could use Bitcoin to pay for our Bills and buy loads and more.

Stores were hesitant to accept crypto for the first time, but when they happen to knew it in a perfect time I think appreciations will blow out. Buying something using crypto is a great way to utilize digital currency being merged to our physical activities, and most specially this brought a convenient way of life for all of us. You won't struggle queing up for counter payments or even paying bills locally using physical money. Bitcoin dominance is spread and very fast at that although I came into cryptocurrency late last year but from research bitcoin started gaining more recognition from early 2017 and this has been on the increase although the price has not been following suit.
I can proudly say I started my poultry farming not to long ago and I bought some chicks from a dealer with bitcoin.
Possibly in the future I would build my investment through bitcoin

Depends on the confirmation of the other party involved with the trade. Yes, it can be used for payment method most of the time but there are some cases that the other party won't allow it to happen. Probably because, he's not fond of taking bitcoin as payment and/or he doesn't like the volatility of bitcoin, he's not a supporter of bitcoin. The community keeps growing and growing yearly and the price seemed to be low for the meanwhile but it's not the indication that the market isn't growing.

Here in my country Nigeria, there isn't much yet we can directly buy from crypto except we exchange it first into fiat before spending. Although I must confess that the crypto awareness is spreading fast in Nigeria, there is still more to be done before we square up with Europe and the rest of the world on this direct use thing. For now, I just hold it back and I have bitcoin at that time when the price is still high, and I buy hoping bitcoin will go up but in reality the price drops dramatically and I feel disappointed.
so for now I'm still holding it back waiting for the price of bitcoin to rise before my initial price returns, so I don't buy it even though currently the price of bitcoin is low.

Hey, it's accumulation phase - don't waste your crypto! Keep it for the future.

It's not that bad to spend some of your Bitcoin as long as it is worth it. These days the price of it compared to the reigning ATH is low so I don't think it would be worth it using it as a payment method. It is not that it is a waste but you might regret it when the price pumps, still it is your decision that matters and if you really need it, you should do it. It is not that I can't buy anything using my Bitcoin but the thing is that I don't want to use them.

Many website now and even stores online and to real world are accepting bitcoin payment it is good start and I believe it will increase more the wbesite and others accepting bitcoin for the payment. I think they see the potential of using payment system of bitcoin and bitcoin is easy to use compared to the other kinds of payment system. Good starts for the bitcoin to rise the value.

Since my native country not yet accept bitcoin so I can't use it offline source in my country. But yes, I can spend it online throw internet like OP described. I believe bitcoin will be accepted everywhere in near future. Because, bitcoin isn't just only a coin name, it's a community and revulsion. However at least we are able to spend it offline either online. Slowly worlds are encouraging to accept bitcoin and we will see another revolution in future. In what country you are residing ?  Most countries nowadays including the poorer ones do already legalize and started using cryptos offline . you may not find all stores that accept cryptos but there is atleast 1 to 2 stores locally that will try to accept it  .  or maybe you are not only aware with it ?  Anyway  you can use some store locator or you can also use google  . type in the keyword crypro + store + your country   .  goodluck hunting  .

This list will expand ad infinitum. Right now you can use debit cards backed with crypto, but I still feel they are a bit on the expensive side and not enough options are available for consumers. I'd like to see more flexibility with cold storage and multi-wallet options, and lower fees. It's only a matter of time before this goes mainstream in all developed countries.
