Tokens I got from airdrops are from airdrops with no KYC,I've never get paid from KYC airdrops and that's why I think airdrops with KYC are mostly fake or Scam

I almost discovered that a lot of airdrop now really needs to fill out the KYC form to get a portion of the promised tokens and for me it is not comparable to the tokens we will receive because in reality the Airdrop tokens to be distributed have only a small amount, probably for airdrop searchers considering that everything is proportional to the data we will provide to produce only a few tokens.

The issue of KYC always raises questions whose answers are mostly not very discerning to the ears. It is quite unfortunate, I know most crypto enthusiasts are not comfortable giving out their personal information for KYC but there is little we can do about the situation at the moment.  Most of these projects claim they are under a legal jurisdiction where KYC is very important for many business projects. The new trend is increasingly becoming worrisome as many airdrops are even requiring KYC verification from participants.

This is what I dislike to join an airdrop which require KYC because it violate my rights to data privacy. It would be much better if I invest or join a bounty campaign for the project but not in an airdrop.

Not even only to be under a legal jurisdiction but most people now are very greedy, opening many account for the same project to have more tokens dubiously. The only avenue to curb this is to do KYC, with this it is impractically impossible to claim for more than an account. This will ensure that only legit users are rewarded and token does not get into wrong hands that will be dumped immediately. Most genuine projects nowadays required KYC before distributing their token.

These airdrop projects claim they are under jurisdiction to undergo a Know Your Customer process, and yet, the project never sees the light of the day. One thing I ve realized is that, those that do not even require KYC are the real projects that are usually successful and get listed on exchanges

Personally, I am not against KYC because it is used for legal and verification purposes for the project. It sometimes help the project to eliminate double and bot entries. However, investors, bounty hunters must be cautious of the kind of projects they fill KYC for because there are some projects who gather the data from KYC participants and sell them for huge sums of money. Airdrop normally give out some few pennies and I wouldn't risk giving my personal details for airdrop KYC.
it's funny if airdrop program require KYC verification.moreover airdrop program value usually below $20.and its not worthed at alll if we give our personal data to unknown people.even in bounty campaign that have huge allocation could be penny when it traded.

Even though we are getting low valued coins but people still submitting the KYC for 20$ worth but once after listing in the exchange we don't see any value to the coins, the value of the coin will drop below to 1$, so it is completely waste submitting the documents to the companies.

Good observation, i think they have other plans for bounty hunters documents and we should be careful with that. Besides, airdrops are just penny for you to comply with their demand of KYC.

it's funny, but that's what happens a lot now. and strangely still many people do that. even use other people's e-mail and other people's data to participate in airdrop. I realized that, when the email I had was used by people to follow Airdrop. some confirmation emails come in, this really sucks.
I do not buy that airdrops that request for KYC because that may harm on account privacy. Sometimes KYC is just a front so do not believe easily though it offers good return of earnings. Airdrop nowadays is not worth for support because not all are listed on the market.

Airdrops are nearly always worth little or nothing. KYC information however is always very valuable. I would not take the risk, I don't think it's a good idea to give that information out in exchange for what is probably a couple of dollars at most.

The situation can be avoided, hence we are free not to participate in any types of airdrops or bounty projects, but if we think that the project is legit then providing KYC is not a problem, and of course we knew that they do and did this KYC because a lot of spammers and fake accounts.

FUCK THOSE AIRDROPS!!!!!!!!

Those companies who are launching airdrops and one requirement is to verify KYC is just pure stupidity. Unfortunately, there are more stupider people who are hungry for a shit token and they will give their personal information for the sake of a bit of pennies. I think I can only give KYC if the token or coin has already a price and a trusted coin already like what XLM did in coinbase.

It's true that as I know some businesses need KYC to know their customers, because some regulations concerning E-business in some countries are very strict, so far in addition to avoiding fake customers, multi accounts or the like can be a little overcame. For me to personally give my identity depending on the benefits obtained whether it is feasible or not, how serious the developer is about the security of their system, identity is very important and should not be known to everyone.
