Photo Hour is holding a special forum auction. (project flickr and info page is here: http://www.flickr.com/people/69296392@N07/)
This auction ends in 6h from posting this message. This auction is for a session on an FOSS Stockholm even with Richard Stallman, founder of GNU Foundation.

I am going to the event now and I will start shooting as soon as there is a reply in this thread with a bid. This will be Photo Hours first special mission. Winner gets rights to all the pictures as usual. A few will also be chosen for the art project as like in the standard missions.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Come on guys, i need a bid to start shooting. The event starts in a few minutes. 0.001 bitcoin cant be too much to contribute to bitcoin and have the chance of owning rights to free software guru nr 1.

I am 100% confused and extremely discoutaged. I'm here with mr stallman. 100 persons or so has seen this and no one of them wants to start the bidding at almost 0 cost.  Imnot greedy herr, bit i need a bid for this to be part of the bitcoin art project. There is still a little time.

I guess running art projects isnt supposed to be easy.  The event is soon over and chanses of getting nice shots of the guru is growing slimmer by the minuten. The sheer principle of the art project is forcing me to keep the auction open. If someone bids i will have to publish the mission as a failure without pictures! Please dont.

I have no idea what is going on in this thread  Cheesy   I feel bad for laughing.

Edit: I am trying to figure out what is going on.  Please retitle original post and put more information as to what specifically is going on.    A 6 hour event based on a thread created in "Bitcoin Discussion" .. isn't this more of a marketplace thing?    /r/Bitcoin gets more traffic than this place depending on content of post, too many people I think believe heavy traffic comes from these forums alone or something.

Edit 2:

Awesome picture man.  Good luck.   I hope this isn't discouraging to the point where you won't see what things you can learn from this auction to make another one better Smiley

Maybe the forum choice was  wrong, there is always something new learn. The idea of the thread was that i thought i had a unique oportunity to contribute to bitcoin community by connecting the bitcoin project with the GNU free software project. It obviously failed...

I really think the idea was good, I highly highly suggest getting with someone here before hand next time is all.  But yes, "Bitcoin Discussion" portion of Bitcointalk.org is not what it used to represent as something valuable to the Bitcoin Community/Communities, sucks because I don't believe a lot of people caught on.

RMS doesn't have to consider mcuh on what is free software and what isn't because there is a definition. Bitcoin is free because it gives its users the four freedoms: http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html

Edit: I forgot to mention I think it's great for people to offer services like the OP has done for Bitcoin. Hopefully, I'll be around to bid on the next one.
