This kind of content is very good, I hope that beginners can seriously understand, otherwise it will be very common to be deceived in the cryptocurrency market in the future. There are countless scammers here, they are persecutors of cryptocurrencies.

That's why I have posted it on "Beginners & Help" board.
If anyone follow this post then there is 99% chance to avoid scam.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the field of cryptocurrency, this is a new experience for me, and I am still afraid to communicate with other people in this forum about cryptocurrency
No need to be afraid just be careful and keep in mind how you can be scammed. Avoid it, if you think there is 1% chance to be scammed.

Thanks for the warning and tips, I wasn't thinking that scammers can be a third party to scam people As I read your thread It is very possible so we need to be extra careful. This is very helpful mate.  Wink
You are right. We have to be more careful while trading.

1. Make any final deal over bitcointalk message or thread. Not any other way. You can discuss anywhere for first conversation but final deal must be on bitcointalk.
~

I would suggest that the both parties sign a "contract" with their Bitcoin private keys, and someone should quote their statement.

That way you can verify their identity in case Bitcointalk account of one or both parties get hacked.

I believe that when it comes to transacting sensitive data between each other like password/s, bank account details, and even personal name and/or your identity proof for any specific reasons, you should use PGP messaging in order to keep everything secure in between you and other party only whom you want it to be seen. One good tutorial is here to follow - https://medium.com/@noahruderman/if-you-own-btc-you-should-be-using-pgp-efcd440f0adf

As well, I suggest keybase.io for any such sensitive messages.

Being informed is the best way of protecting oneself, ignorance is a very useful tool in the hands of scammers.
Regularly visit the Scam accusation board for ICOs or accounts which has been linked with scams. Adopt the highest level of security for all your accounts, especially those connected with finances.

I think that's crucial information to spread and it could be helpful if people could share their own personal stories as well as those scammers will have new tricks soon and too many people fall for it.
Scammers will always constantly evolve new schemes on how to extort funds from gullible individual.
But still information like this would go a long way in creating awareness about the menace of scam activities

Very correct and informativel but just to add extra payment method being use by scammers aside PayPal and the rest is payooner most at times some of the scammer also ask to be paid using this platform and since payoner is a digital Bank they use it to trick people into having confidence in the transaction but at the end they end up being scam.

Do you think Payoneer is a scam? If so, you are wrong. But for Payoneer payment, you should wait until the payment approved. If you release fund then Payoneer payment can't be approved as the seller can make a file against you that you have not delivered the task as promised, or unauthorized transaction or something else. Also, Payoneer payment can't be approved if your account or seller account has any problem eg: any of you fail to pass identity verification.

You are right.

The goal of not losing bitcoins to clever adversaries goes far beyond the narrow scope of "scam" as defined here.

Consider for a moment, the many wallets that you can get to store your coins in, both on computers and on phones.

WHY ARE THEY FREE?

It is a good question. Maximum wallet supports us for advertising and also for trading. For example see on blockchain, exodus etc. There might have more reason for it but I don't know.

WHY ARE THEY FREE?
That is because some wallet has been partnered with a site where to buy bitcoins or even those sites where you can buy bitcoins created this wallet for one to store bitcoin. Of course no one will buy bitcoin if after buying it could not be stored in a digital wallet or hardware wallet. This is why some are free but to the wallet that has proven its security protocol and effective in securing bitcoin then they are not for free.

Yes, some where being supported but some are just made to.support the site where one could buy bitcoin. And it is not just one wallet for some site selling bitcoin has provided many wallets including free bitcoin wallet and for sell bitcoin hardware wallet.
