I am doing day trades on LBC for more than a week now, today one of my buyer paid twice the amount of he need to pay that is he paid me two times of $250 dollar for a $250 amount of bitcoin,he immediately called me and ask me to please return it back,I said him no need to panic if it got credited two times I will pay the amout back so when I watch my bank's statement yes he paid twice so I gave the money to him back.I know most of them will say why you give it back it is his mistake but I got some good feeling when he said thank you lot for being too generous which may not get from those $250. Cheesy

So if you are in the same situation what will you do? you will pay the back as me or will say it is your mistake I am not responsible for it.

I will pay back because it's right thing to do.
Don't forget that something like this can also happen to you so you can't expect from others to be fair toward you if you are not.

It would have been better if you just asked:

"Are you a scammer, or not?"

Because that's basically what you are asking. Why wouldn't you give his money back for fucks sake? You shouldn't even think about something like this.

Ahahahah.  By the way, this is a very good decision in my opinion.  The money should be returned without any doubts.  But I think it's better to return the amount of money in bitcoins, rather than the pathetic, eternally losing its value images of the dead presidents.

To be honest with you there is no need of contemplating before refund the bitcoin back to your customers if he mistakenly send bitcoin or any coins to your wallets twice.  It is about trust and not withholding to yourself what belongs to other people.  I think we should all agree to be honest with ourselves in this cryptocurrencies system because of how transparent the system itself is.

I will give it back just as you

Its just about ethics and values, for me its not ok when someone trys to take an abusive position with other person that makes a mistake.

Just remember how horrible is when you fucked up something that involves money....

So, good decision speaks a lot about you as a person

I'd do the same, in the end it's not my money at all.

I have that belief that when someone commits a mistake, the same can happen to us. You have nothing to lose if you will return that person's money though it would probably take few of your time.

Karma is real, that's it and don't listen to your friends this time, you just did the right thing.

I do not think that all will return the money from the above answers , it seems to me on arrival for example 20 bitcoins and 10 that were not yours , you certainly will not return them , unless you return someone you know in life

The best you do and right is to back the money who paid you twice because better to be honest. Because once you honest person or individual for sure more blessings come to you so better to choose the right thing instead of wrong.

You did the right thing. Don't get shortsighted with the money, I see many times dishonest act gets punished more than you can imagined. Your reputation ruined, affecting people you know and so on. And if you're lucky people will reward you back for your honesty.

Last year I used an exchanger, which mistakenly made 2 transactions to me. I immediately returned them.
This money did not belong to me, but the men made just a mistake. We all make mistakes, and we must learn to help correct mistakes.

It happens to our CM to had a return of money of a phone he bought that was perfectly working, he done all the best to return the money, calling the company where he bought, sending sms, whatsapp and email. The company never replied him and he kept them, but he said, whenever they'll ask I'll immediately return the money since for taxation the company could have more trouble receiving back the money without an invoice  Huh
