Very good news that Poloniex has solved issues with deposit and withdrawn! Meaning the new version should be working fine and passed audit.
However, I had problems in synchronising the blockchain with the previous version as well. Wallet does not start anymore.
What shall I do? I just don't want to remove the downloaded blockchain as it will take forever to do it again. Please advise.

I am using BytecoinWallet 1.1.9 and it syncs fine, no issues at all. I would recommend keeping it open for some time and let it connect to peers.

Also check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking it because I had that issue once.

It's not necessary to make a synch from the scratch. You can download the latest blockchain, setup it using readme file and launch your wallet. It won't take more than several hours to make a full synch using that method. Kindly follow the link to download it:

Congratulations guys the yellow banner of death has been removed. That is all.

rumors said the coin its self soon be removed.

That would be totally unprofessional from Poloniex, here is why I believe they resumed withdrawals/deposits : by law I believe they can't hold your funds more than a certain period of time.
well bcn deposit and withdrawal is now activated on poloniex
i think poloniex have done the right thing
now BCN will remain on poloniex for trade.
and yes no exchange can't removed any coin without a solid reason.
best of luck for BCN and i hope bcn coin team will do best in future develoments

polo fix deposits and withdrawl only for possible make delesting.....think about that VOLUME BCN maximum 150 btc per day..... 1 step from delisting

Who wants to trade on Polo? It is going gox anyway. It's good if BCN moves to better exchanges. I transferred all my coins out of Polo couple of months back and everyone else should do the same.

last pumped would be expected just in case that this coin will be delisted but I guess polo will warm and they inform the trader inside so it will be avoided
just in case dev still working behind the scene and try work with the trading volume.

Sorry to ask but can you please give some example of coins that rise in price when iOS wallet released? I'm very curious to know, because not many coins have iOS wallet, so I don't know how an iOS wallet will bring more investor.

Bytecoin team has been quite busy lately. The team has released v2.1.0 of the Reference Client and v1.1.9.1 of Bytecoin wallet to the public that solves many issues and brings improvements that will make the end user experience much better. For the bytecoin reference client, this includes fixing transaction pool issues and bringing daemon synchronization improvements. For the Bytecoin wallet, the dependencies have been updated.
