For bitcointalk administrator

(About) WARNING

Everyone who has a normal and longer time tracking Bytecoin is perfectly clear that Bytecoin is OK. BCN_official is OK. Still, what would a novice think when he saw this kind of Warning?!

Many people believe that the earth is a flat panel. Repeat a lie a thousand times and it will become true. Where does this information come from? Of those who rush hardly into individual cryptocurrency without thinking and lose a couple hundred bucks. At the wrong time and with the wrong way of thinking. And that is a "fraud" for them. Newbie user (who reported this as a scam) has no idea what he is talking about.

But, I thought Bitcointalk was an impartial place (on admin side). Think with your head. Edit your forum settings in a different way. Thank you.

I agree. This is rediculous bad marketing. A novice would stay away from bytecoin after this warning.

Call for action of the entire Bytecoin community

(About) WARNING

What's wrong here:

Why is this warning is activated after two years? Did Bitcointalk declared as a "avenger"? I do not think so. The trigger is automated. Why no one adds something positive? As long as there is more negative than positive ratings this warning will be visible. We can change this.

What can we do to make the warning disappear:

STEP #1
Log in. Jump to the last post by BCN_official at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.msg50754860#msg50754860

STEP #2
Click on the "Trust" - right next to the icon "View Profile"

STEP #3
If you believe that BCN_official is not a scammer and that with this cryptocurrency all right, add your own opinion.

On bytecoin.money we have a sophisticated security system that prevents DDOS attacks, but on rare occasions it may flag your IP as illegitimate. You could PM us or write to support@bytecoin.org for instructions on how to proceed.

Poloniex are afraid about legal status of this coin in the USA, trade stopped for US citizens at May 29.

Quote
Geofencing assets for US customers
On Wednesday, May 29th, at 16:00 UTC, the markets for ARDR, BCN, DCR, GAME, GAS, LSK, NXT, OMNI, and REP will be disabled for Poloniex customers in the US. All assets remain available for trading to customers outside the US. Once geofenced, you will be able to withdraw these assets from your wallet for as long as we support the asset globally. You will not, however, be able to see your deposit address or generate a new deposit address.

We are committed to complying with regulatory requirements in every jurisdiction. Today’s action is a result of regulatory uncertainty in the US market. Specifically, it is not possible to be certain whether US regulators will consider these assets to be securities. We understand how frustrating this choice is, and will continue to focus time and energy on supporting positive policy and regulatory developments for crypto assets in the US and around the world.Posted by The Poloniex Team at 2019-05-16 21:20:46
