Sorry for asking this guys! (Sorry not sorry)
I kinda get the merit thing but not fully,
You contribute a good helpful post gain merit?.
See a good helpful post give merit.
Whats it for ? Whats it for indications of a shit poster or what?
How do people "abuse" the merit system?
Whats the merit cycling club?

Trust When is the right time to issue trust?.
When I get a signature made and they deliver? Or they do not?
Or for more serious stuff like losing BTC in a scam?
Whats the right etiquette when handling these things?

On a side note whats DT Members mean?

I know a lot of this is self explanatory givens but I want verification as I find myself spending much more time here.

Some of what you are looking for can be found by reading a couple topics. I'll give you some short answers where I can, and some links if I can find them.

Merit - Ideally you merit "quality" posts. This is obviously different for everybody so it's a very broad brush which is fine. Merit isn't meant to be an insurmountable hurdle, but still a tool to improve forum quality. When it was introduced it was pegged to account ranks moving forward so to rank up you needed Activity and Merit.

Abusing merit can be shady stuff like selling it, meriting your alts to rank them up. Again there are no hard and fast rules, and theymos had given a bit of direction for people not to go crazy tagging suspected merit abuse. If there is some glaringly obvious abuse case he will reverse the merit transaction.

Trust is actually feedback. Again a system that is not regulated and is used differently by everyone. You can look at the feedback I've left to see how  I proceed.

DT means default trust. These members are who's trust scores will be displayed if you do not make your own custom trust list, and remove default trust.

Mostly I use neutral if I want to state something about the accounts behaviour or personality, could be good or bad.
Positive - If I had a successful trade with a person
Negative - Unsuccesful trade, attempted scam. I will also tag sales threads that exhibit patterns previously used to scam.

I am however always receptive to changing feedback, if conditions or behaviours change.

Biggest suggestion always leave a reference, and an accurate amount risked for BTC.

How do people "abuse" the merit system?
By sending undeserved merits to their friends or alt accounts, or by selling merits for money or favours.

Whats the merit cycling club?
A conspiracy theory held by a certain infamous user that states that most or all high-ranking members are engaged in the aforementioned merit abuse. Some accused members of the alleged conspiracy (including myself) found the concept amusing, so we rolled with it.

When is the right time to issue trust?.
When I get a signature made and they deliver? Or they do not?
Or for more serious stuff like losing BTC in a scam?
There are no hard and fast rules. Ultimately, everyone sets their own standards regarding what behaviour they consider (un)trustworthy.

Whats the right etiquette when handling these things?
If you feel you have received negative trust unfairly, it is generally considered acceptable to send a polite PM to whoever sent it asking an explanation and/or what you can do to make things right. But do not continue to spam PMs if you don't receive a satisfactory reply immediately; that won't help your case at all.

On a side note whats DT Members mean?
DT stands for Default Trust, and is the list of users whose trust feedback is considered trusted by default. Information about how users are selected for DT can be found in this thread, and you can customise your trust list on the trust settings page on your profile.

Its not pinned in meta, but I did look, figured I could get direct answers here quicker , along with expected scrutiny
"Sorry not Sorry" was an indication my post might be annoying to you more seasoned members.

You missed something when you came to meta and you didn't see this thread FAQ: Eveything you need to know about forum 'activity' accounts rank and merit has been pinned in meta.

Lol, that's exactly what came to mind after reading the first 5 lines of his first post here.

OP, do some reading in Meta.  Everything you want to know is there, probably within the first 10 pages of the section--and it's interesting reading as well.  Lots of drama.  Also, people who can't speak English who post generic nonsense is basically the epitome of shitposting.  Most of that happens in sections like Bitcoin/Altcoin Discussion, Economics, and Speculation.  It's unfortunate that the most important section is also the most polluted, but such is life.

You already got good answers regarding the merit abuse issue and the conspiracy theories surrounding merit gangs, DT, and such.  I would advise you to view that stuff with a skeptical eye.  There are lots of people jealous of what they think is great power around bitcointalk, when in reality it isn't.  You'll figure it out.

I spent some time reading all above posts and I think you already have the answers for what you seek. What botheres me is how come that you do not know all about these stuffs? You've been here over a year ago but you seem like a new member here. You don't even know how to use "search" function.

Sorry about this but by reading your thread, the answers are pretty obvious. This thread doesn't really fit in this section as well actually.

Whats it for indications of a shit poster or what?
How do people "abuse" the merit system?
I have read all of the Topics, I am confused where to start, I answer, I make a decision about Merit and trust.
Merit is not a joke or a bad poster.

Merit:
means, kindness, service, calculating the good aspect of something proposed, usable, merit is appropriate, appropriate. It deserves to get something.

Trust:
Another with a belief in an attitude shown by someone when he felt confident and concluded that he had reached the truth.

Not in the opposite sense,

Example: At one time, people always believed that the earth was an element of the solar system, if you realized that it was wrong belief.

Sorry for asking this guys! (Sorry not sorry)

Sorry but no sorry from me as your post made me one thing clear about which I was trying to gain some more information quoted below:

Quote
Whats the merit cycling club?

Quote
I kinda get the merit thing but not fully,
You contribute a good helpful post gain merit?.
See a good helpful post give merit.
Whats it for ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0
A thread in Meta if you'd have actually searched for it.

Quote
Whats it for indications of a shit poster or what?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2836505.0
A piece of information in this thread that describes what is shitposting. Specifically, shitposters are those who make off-topic blatant unnecessarily unrelated spam-posts just to gain more post counts - that may either be signature spamming or just a regular one. Some just continue to send reports in ICOs which is also considered spam as you're not here to do that alone but to gain knowledge too.

Quote
How do people "abuse" the merit system?

Obviously by trading them. The best (or I'd say worst) way to abuse merit system is to buy or sell them for money and give them to those who don't deserve to rank up at all.

Quote
Trust When is the right time to issue trust?.
When I get a signature made and they deliver? Or they do not?

First things first:
Trust is not a cheque that can be issued. You can give it to someone whom you think to be trustworthy, you can also remove someone from your trust list by adding ~ before their username, e.g.; ~Stedsm if you don't trust me.
Signatures have nothing to do with trust, but providing services has. If you make good graphics or better signatures and sell them for BTC and if your buyer is satisfied with your work, you can get good trust ratings from them and others as well based on their convenience.

Quote
Or for more serious stuff like losing BTC in a scam?

If a user scams, Scam Accusations is the correct place to head towards before issuing any trust ratings to the scammer. Prove the person wrong with proofs and then give a rating is what I believe to be the best option.

Quote
Whats the right etiquette when handling these things?

It depends on a case-by-case basis and in what manner the scam / trade / service was conducted as each case has a different outcome.

Quote
On a side note whats DT Members mean?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0
Some info can be gained here about what DT members are. They're actually some highly trusted members who have done something special for the community or are active in trading - in simple words, extra trustworthy amongst the whole community (sometimes even highly trusted members turn out to be scammers so do your own research - DYOR before you go ahead).
