You can create a .bat file with the following code in it:

@echo off
@echo Enter SHACcoin password...
SET /P variable=Password :
SHACoind walletpassphrase %variable% 9999999 true

You open the wallet, then run the .bat file.  The window running the .bat file will ask for your passphrase.

I imagine you could also just type "walletpassphrase <whateveryourpassphraseis> 9999999 true" into the console in the wallet as well

Is this how you unlock for minting?

Is there going to be an update to make the unlocking easier like Mintocin?

Can confirm, minting is working. I am using the above .bat file to unlock my wallet.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Any other way to confirm? My wallet is unlocked for minting, but maybe my coins aren't old enough for stake Tongue
is there some console command that we can use to check if minting is being done, before new wallet version?

You can check the Block Explorer and see the minted blocks (For example Block #14746)...the Difficultly is only 0.24999 for the minting wallets.  You can also check the explorer to see that the coins being mined are several hundred times higher in difficulty.  I don't know how to post pictures or I would have included an image of the explorer here.

let me help, then - use something like imgur.com to upload the image and then use the BB link code they provide and paste in the post (you can check with preview to be sure). That's all it takes to have an image here Cheesy

Thanks for the help, too.

How old are your coins? if that's not it, then it's very strange that only some are being able to mint ...

Dev, maybe it's a noob question, but would you mind clearing this doubt, please? first time with PoS, I'm afraid  Undecided

I'm the owner of CryptoALTeX but I'd also like to put a good word in for bittrex.  I've been hanging out with the bittrex guys and they seem to have their heads on their shoulders.

Both of us were up the other night as soon as the BlackCoin error came through our audit systems woke us up.  That was a good sign to me that bittrex has decent auditing compared to some other exchanges Smiley

I'd put my coins on the exchanges that wake up in the middle of the night to fix things rather than those that are "sleeping" and can't be bothered.

Thanks again for SHA support at www.cryptoaltex.com and please don't hesitate to arbitrage with www.bittrex.com

Happy trading folks
