FYI I started staking on the 26th and had probably 50 stake transactions and all of them orphaned. Every transaction from every other day is fine, and not one transaction on the 26th is.
same with me amigo, we lost out on a few stake coins, but we will live to see another day Smiley
and this doesnt mean coins dissapeared, it just means our coins we would have gained from stake were orphans

I am not sure if this applies here, but it may. I remember several coins having these kind of issues, and the problem ended up being that people where adding nodes that were for some other coin. The original coin was cloned too closely with the one that people were adding nodes from and the chains got all screwed up.

Well this chain is on 18789 now and counting.

Are you OK with backing up your wallet sacskate and re-downloading with the nodes I posted ? You can go from the longer chain with the other backup if necessary later on.

Is your current chain finding blocks ?

You guys won't get rewarded everyday from stake! Do some research on how pos works on other coins.  It's the same thing people crying right off the bat they haven't got anything. This is not mining. It is a energy saving way of keeping up the block chain and getting some reward. If you want to mine then pow is for you.

Repeating the same thing doesn't change the fact that some are getting it at LOW amounts and others are not getting it at all. Sure, there is some element of randomness, but by this point in the game everyone should have gotten something. Even one.

I took the smart choice and sold out. The gentleman who bought my coins made me about recoup what I would have got mining a coin that works. I wish you all luck.

ok so i was an early miner of blackcoin, i had about 250,000 at one point. once pos kicked in, i was getting like 1000 coins per day, or something rediculously low. i said fuck that, something is broken and sold out at 2000 satoshi, and we all know what happened their.
people do not realize, POS is not the same as mining, and is why this coin is MUCH rarer than people REALIZE at the moment. i have 3 million SHA in my wallet, at this moment, and am getting about 70 POFMINED every 30 minutes or so at the moment. i dont think its broken, i just think its how it works, and people think POS is going to like double their coin stack in a month, but thats not how it works.
why do you think blackcoin price has been so resilient lately, theirs not that many coins being generated everyday, like alot of pow coins, when they become profitable, all miners switch, and DUMP

no, I calculated around 60 coins a day based on 25% per annum.

What I got was zero coins per day. that is a 0 % per annum, -electricity. granted the electricity is negligible, but I don't see this as fixable. when people with 3k coins are getting a screenfull of generated coins and I get exactly zero, even when I follow the exact steps they are, then the only conclusion is that the system is irretrievably broken.

I hope for all of you sticking it out that I am wrong. We'll see.

I have no problem trying that. Im not sure it will help as it seems there are tons of people on my chain. Also, there seems to be several chains.

Edit: Yes my chain is still finding blocks.

Indeed. The chain on my nodes matches http://explorer.shacoin.co/ which is the block explorer for the devs website ?

I'm thinking that the higher chain is from old clients and the only 'run away' pool. I'm guessing the dev. would go with the block explorer's chain.

The problem is I am on the longer chain. The dev cant really do anything. If the chain I am on continues it will be the main chain regardless of what the dev does.

we can win the race in 30 mins i think. and maybe dev need to change the speed of pos to prevent 51% attack in the future.

BTC for example: Hashrate:42,729,170 GH/s, now we are TH/s: 0.044806673015955.

we are 44.8GH, for a sha256 coin, it is too small.

I have heard of 51% attacks with pos. Maybe that guy who had the 30 mil did it? I will send BitcoinFX some coins, post your address.

one of my wallets goes out of sync every little bit, however, when  i send coins to another wallet, they show up instantly. whatever this issue is, it isnt a fork, its somthing with the wallet but not very serious it seems, cuz the network is working perfect for me. i have been sending back and fourth to both wallets small amounts with no problems

If a person has over 50% of the coins they can 51%. Supposedly there are ways where the attacker doesnt need 50%. I'm not sure on either, just what I've read in the past.
