yes, i had all these issues ppl are speaking of yesterday as well when we first updated.
but if you noticed, yesterday we figured most of these issues out with deleting everything and resynincing, and myself,  aswell as multiple people, are NOT having those problems anymore
im just trying to help dude, thanks for being a dick raskul :/
I dont think he intentionally is, he is just getting frustrated as it is still not working for him, it is possible he missed a step. I find with this coin there are a lot of little steps you need to do to get it to work at all.

1. Wipe everything except your wallet.dat
2. install updated wallet
3. add conf file, I will post all my nodes when I am home, there are 5 more I added and they all help boost my connections up to 14
4. Run your wallet in -server mode
5. encrypt your wallet
6. unlock your wallet
7. Patience

Best not to do step 6 until the wallet is fully synced.

Could be cautious and wait till sync'd to do step 6, i did it right away, it was the -server after the wipe that made the difference for me.
I do find that in the last 2 days and 12 pages of posts here we have not heard anything from the dev. Maybe he is busy, it would be nice if he took all the help information from the last 12 pages and organized them into a nice little summary on the main page

So I got the new wallet and deleted everything and it keeps stopping and not loading the whole block chains. If you look at the debug log it it always ends with an error when it stops downloading the block chain.

debug log
Code:
received block ac8acf0e2db49197c309
ERROR: CheckProofOfStake() : INFO: check kernel failed on coinstake 8d6dbcefa6f8236d38f8fd1e823ce3d760d9dfbc26b5002cf2b01484a620f3db, hashProof=9755b6847828ec8b829b05a3fe318697a9efeb47372ea4460d38094e1e768801
WARNING: ProcessBlock(): check proof-of-stake failed for block ac8acf0e2db49197c309298bcac04becab26d381e271ef673a8de6a61164a3b5

So I restarted it a few times and got it to download the whole block chain. Then I copy my wallet.dat file into the folder and restarted the wallet and it worked. Some of my coins even came out of stake since they now had over 500 confirms.

It would also help if he corrected the transaction details. Since it says 30 blocks before they can be spent when it is really 500 confirmations for a POF mined block to be spent.

Code:
Status: 498 confirmations
Date: 3/28/2014 17:51
Debit: 0.00 SHA
Net amount: -600.00 SHA
Transaction ID: 9b6f1061f623954b9e0f65c94e5c99ce68b6a966880bb80c81fbf5132a7c7eae

Generated coins must mature 30 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

The chain seems pretty borked.

PoS blocks obviously can't be successfully pushed to the network when this happens. When PoS chains go wrong they become their own worst problem.

Quite a few old clients on the network still and everyone restarting won't help nodes to find a consensus, if that is even possible.

...

I'm no longer running on the nodes that I posted as they went out of sync. and the network is a total mess.

Don't really have the time for it atm sadly and I will therfore wait for the devs solution, if any.

Ive had to delete and re-sync several time now, and every time my minting amount is different.  This would suggest the chain keeps forking, probably due to the speed of minting.  minting needs to slow down similar to how mintcoin has approached minting.

I totally agree, I think this is definitely the problem.  Last time I actually got the wallet to sync, I was generating stake like crazy, 4-5 times per minute.  I can't imagine how many stake blocks must be created on the network with hundreds, maybe thousands of wallets running.

I have noticed every few pages or so that a newbie account will copy/paste a comment made earlier by someone else word for word. It has happened many times already in this thread and seemed strange to me.

So I got the new wallet and deleted everything and it keeps stopping and not loading the whole block chains. If you look at the debug log it it always ends with an error when it stops downloading the block chain.

debug log

So I restarted it a few times and got it to download the whole block chain. Then I copy my wallet.dat file into the folder and restarted the wallet and it worked. Some of my coins even came out of stake since they now had over 500 confirms.

It would also help if he corrected the transaction details. Since it says 30 blocks before they can be spent when it is really 500 confirmations for a POF mined block to be spent.

i did everything like you and lost all my stake coins,
got to recover deleted files, if i delete them i lost all my coins in stake....
what should i do???
