both my wallets on dif computers, do seem to go out of sync after a few hours. then i delete everything but wallet.dat, and it syncs, repairwallet, and all my coins are back. it works for a few more hours, then i must repeat. dev, your wallet must be doing the same thing??

Ok, Walked away for a few days, got my head straight, realized I was still fascinated, bought a few coins (at a higher price than I sold ) and am still having issues. Don't worry, I'm calm this time. Won't freak like I did last time.

So, to those of you still having the syncing problems, are you all running Windows? Raskul got it to sync and stake once he got a Mac wallet. Me, I'm not long enough in to know if I'll stake this time, but I do still have to pretty much brutalize the wallet to get it to sync, and then it slowly drifts out. Running Windows 7.
im still having similar issues. its goes out of sync after a while, but as post above: once you delete everything but wallet.dat file and it syncs up, do repairwallet, and all your coins that would have staked appear(at least for me)
so stake is working a-ok, just something is wierd with the wallet going out of sync at times. no coins are ever lost, theirs no forks, its just a wierd wallet issue, idk what it is
but welcome back Smiley
im waiting for dev to answer if his wallet does the same thing cuz i know im not the only one Smiley
yes i am on windows 7, on 2 dif computers, and the same thing is happening

anecdotally, it seems the problem is mainly with windows then. odd.

I am on windows and am experiencing the same issues the past few days.  But this morning, I deleted everything again because I had a withdraw from cryptoaltex that shows on the blockchain but not my wallet.  After I got the new wallet to sync, I deleted it and copied over my backup wallet.  Start up the wallet and everything was there, even the TX from crytoaltex.  And the wallet is still in sync after 11 hours.  Normally, I would have restarted the wallet many times to keep it sync.

So it seems today I did something right even though the processes are the same.  My config only have the three nodes in the OP.  This could very well be a windows issue and maybe have someone else recompile the wallet and see if it helps the majority of windows users.

This coin is terribly undervalued (even with the wallet issues)! We all need to stop selling so cheap. Give this a quick read:
http://cryptofrenzy.wordpress.com/2014/02/16/secret-price-formula-for-just-launched-coins/comment-page-1/

Of course, this really isn't a secret or even that accurate, but it is a good place to start. According to the formula in the article:
(21,000,000/640,000,000)/5000 = 0.00000656 (High Sell Price)
(21,000,000/640,000,000)/10000 = 0.00000328 (Low Sell Price)

Using that formula, we should not be selling under 328 satoshi. So go remove those low sell orders!
Just my two cents...

Im running windows 7 64bit, I did have stake a several days back and then my wallet went out of sync. After the stake I wiped everything one more time reinstalled, put in the conf file and loaded into server mode have had a stable connection for 2 days now(knock on wood) but no more stake. I have my wallet encrypted and unlocked.

i've been unsuccessful at getting the windows wallet to sync and actually show transactions but i honestly gave up on it and was more worried about the exchange wallet.

Linux isn't 100% perfect either.  We've had to restart the daemon twice now and we also had to rebuild the block chain at one point.  I know bittrex had to do the same, I'm always in contact with richie over there and their daemon needed restarted last night I believe due to falling out of sync.

I believe there are some definite issues that can be fixed with an updated wallet, maybe some dns seeds and also, wonder if the dev can find out what nodes are causing issues and add some kind of acl to deny them :-/

If you did a wiped and reinstalled, then run  "repairwallet" to get those stake back...

to confirm, my mac wallet is stable and working, i woke up this morning and the windows wallet is out of sync.
I agree with the poster above, the wallet needs recompiling by a fresh pair of hands.

 Another problem with the wallet is if you close the wallet when you have coins in 'stake' it will load a couple more blocks then it will get stuck and not load any more blocks. So then you need to move the .dat file. Delete all files. Download the whole block chain. Copy back the .dat file and then repairwallet. I bet all of the problems are having to deal with the wallet trying to add coins into the block chain before it downloads all of the new blocks.

Just tought:

If POW blocks from miners are still accepted, then maybe someone attack the network with solo mining and creating forks ?  Maybe an attacker is able to create massive spike of 1 SHA blocks , and then part of the network just begin of destabilize from that spike...

Thoughts?

I dont think personnaly since too much ppl got wallet working well & node work well & difficulty retarget every block on POW so make large amount and spam should not work.

Not sure why Allcoin hasn't re-enabled it.  HOwever.....

There is still something definately wrong with the sync'g of this wallet etc.  I had to redownload the blockchain for CryptoALTeX this morning.  We were stuck about 100 blocks behind and nothing I would do would make it catch up.  Once I deleted all but .conf and .wallet we were able to resync to the chain.

This is not good for a coin, I'm sure we've already lost a lot of people that would be SHA investors etc, to these bugs, lets get them resolved so SHA can become a strong contender.

I personally think that it may be one of the nodes acting up. In my .conf file, I only have two addnodes:
addnode=23.88.228.99
addnode=198.98.120.30

I removed the addnode=142.54.179.178 from my config. My wallet has been running without issue for going on 2-3 days now.

You may also want to try creating two .conf files, one named SHAcoin.conf and one named shacoin.conf. Just to make sure the case sensitive thing isn't biting you.
