Can you take a screenshot from Telegram confirming that the account you were chatting with was account "@yolonu" on Telegram... as per the account shown in the OP in that thread. (archived)

I see the Bitcointalk username is Marianaa with 2 a's... but you were chatting with a Marianaaa with 3 a's... seeing the actual @yolonu would confirm that it was the same account.

najeeb76,
better take this suggestion:

seeing the actual @yolonu would confirm that it was the same account.

All we can see is that the user you've been talking to is Marianaaa and not the accused account Marianaa. But what matters here to verify your scam accusation is if that telegram chat is indeen @yolonu and not other else. Better indicate screenshot here of the telegram account of the user, so that we could support your accusation and flagging anyone related to marianaa or had used @yolonu's telegram account (maybe she had many accounts but same telegram used.).

Good catch, I think he has been trick by the scammer and probably impersonate someone in this community. So let's see if the OP can give more proof, otherwise we can't do anything about this case as he has been obviously been deceived by someone pretending to be "@yolonu".

@Yolonu is different from @yolonu. Yes, character capitalization matters. And I guess you were tricked by others using Marianaaa with 3 A's and not the real user you're accusing. If that so, we cannot bluntly accuse someone if he really proves he has nothing to do with the accusation. But then again, it's really hard to tell which is which and the validity if the marianaa did really intend to use different telegram username or not.

i am even willing to give my telegram login to seniors to check chat,as dont use telegram ,i just installed it to chat with the accused marianaa

No need. Let's hear other's judgement if we should support your flag. For me, marianaa and marianaaa seems to be the same person whom stole your .002 and if the marianaa user doesn't have any proof of telegram chats and his username was different from whom you've been talking to (which can easily be changed lol), then there's no chance that you are winning here. But then, telegram usernames can be changed, hence he can use the real @yolonu then simply delete your chat to prove he hadn't contacted you.

once i installed telegram ,i copied user name from inbox here and pasted on telegram to get user and that gave me accused id whom i later chatted with, so its the same id i doubt on telegram u can have two ids of same name just caps and non caps starting initials

well, as I understand by reading all posts and the proofs(screenshots) that OP is correct and And he is accusing the correct person. I am thinking like because the accused user marianaa had also a history of bitcointalk account sellers. Just I have created a scam accusation. You can see it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272031.msg55083458#msg55083458

I see someone is talking about the user name first word Capital letter and small letter.
Here is my username with a Capital letter and a small letter. You may check if it redirected to another one else then Op may be dealt with the different user.
1. https://t.me/Sujonali1819
2. https://t.me/sujonali1819

I will ask the OP to pm through bitcointalk marianaa to come here to discuss.

You have to link a thread that shows evidence of the flag's claims (this one works). Threads on the forum can be self-moderated, which allow the creator to delete replies by their discretion: obviously, you wouldn't want such a thread to be the foundation of the accusation.

As actmyname said, this topic already satisfies all the requirements for "a topic describing the specific acts which damaged you". It is required so other users can easily see your claim and supporting proof...

So just copy/paste the URL of this thread into the box: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271935.0

After you have created the flag, you should "edit" your original post, and add in a link to the flag so other users can support it.

what does this means when flagging some one

Quote
You must create a topic describing the specific acts which damaged you. It must not be self-moderated.

After you have created the flag, you should "edit" your original post, and add in a link to the flag so other users can support it.

sorry to bother u as  never flagged anyone before and really learning some nice and new things here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2824701

is this the link?

-snip-
Looks like you got it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2824701;page=iflags

That's it! Now you can just wait until the flag gets enough support.

Based on the information in this thread, I have supported the flag... I also tagged the user with a negative trust... hopefully, they will react to that and come and sort this out. It's for such a tiny amount.

But it's a "worthless" newbie account, so maybe they just don't care Undecided
