So I'm kinda confused as to what is going on. I made a basic coinbase to bitpay transfer from bitcoins I bought from coinbase and over 15 confirmations later its still not letting me spend my bitcoin. Here is the transaction ID 3940236075e7e6ea14a77866c86e674fbfff624674baf91819e48862eb12df9f.

So I check to make sure address was right, and it is. It shows it in my bitpay account, however it states that most of it hasn't cleared more than 1 confirmation. Which clearly (unless I'm not getting something, says way over). It also says in the actual transaction it self that it has over 6+ confirmations however when I look at the balance it shows 0.00 to spend, and once clicked on it states its hasn't clear more than once.

Now, as the bitcoin was clearing I did start to transfer some of the coin to another account. That transfer has 0 confirmations and seems stuck in limbo, 3 hours later.

What is going on here guys? If someone can help me with this I'll gladly tip some coin. I'm getting worried this went really bad. Why can't I get access to my money.

   What do I do?

Thanks ahead of time.

If I get this correct then you are not able to send the Bitcoin since according to bitpay it needs 6+ confirmation. But I understand it already has 14+ confirmations.

I advice you to contact bitpay support and explain them the issue.

Which one you are talking about? I am confuse here. Can you please write some more to understand as I understand that the fund in the bitpay are stuck coz they did not have enough confirmations to spend, according to the bitpay wallet of course.

1. Some wallet/exchanges are lagging in updating their user wallet status. You might need to wait several minutes before it shows up successfully in your exchange wallet, but if that is not the case, contacting their support is your best option.

2. Your 2nd transaction seems like a new transaction that somehow has a low fee so it is not being prioritized by the network. Most likely you need to wait for hours or days before it is added to the latest block, or if you can't wait for it, then use replace by fee to increase your tx fees. If this transaction is related to your stuck one, then maybe it happens because the input is not yet read by your wallet as confirmed, so it is not processed yet (both of them are Bitpay transaction?).

Your first transaction went trough successfully.
If they still don't show as received on bitpay, you have to contact their support. They are the only one able to help you, because they already have received the coins.

Regarding your second transaction, it seems that it hasn't confirmed because of a fee which was too low ? Without looking at the transaction we can only assume what happened.

If this transaction is related to your stuck one, then maybe it happens because the input is not yet read by your wallet as confirmed, so it is not processed yet (both of them are Bitpay transaction?).

His second transaction IS the one stuck. The first one went trough successfully.
So, if his 2nd TX used inputs from the first one, this can not be a reason for it still being unconfirmed (inputs confirmed already).

This is what happened:
Bitpay's invoice has an expiration of 15 minutes and their default speed tx requires 6 confirmations.
Now, your transaction was initiated (blockchain.com time) at 2019-04-07 11:22:22 and got confirmed after 12minutes, add 50 minutes for the next to sixth confirmation, that makes 62 minutes which is way past the invoice.

https://bitpay.com/docs/create-invoice#expi
Don't know how can they accept 6 confirmations within 15minutes but that's what written here.

Just do as others told you and there shouldn't be any problem since Bitpay always address these type of issues.

They don't... and that isn't what it says. It says the invoice, by default, is valid for 15 minutes.

But they don't require it to be confirmed within that timeframe... they simply require that you broadcast the transaction within 15 minutes... as long as their node sees your transaction in the mempool within the 15 minute window, it will mark it as "pending"... even if it takes another 2 hours to get 6 confirmations. It just won't confirm the payment as being completed with the vendor until your transaction gets 6 confirmations.

Correct. BitPay is actually very lenient in what it accepts as a "paid" invoice, even transactions with unconfirmed parents or very low transaction fees are fair game. You will receive a warning message and it won't show up in the merchant's account until it has at least 1 confirmation, but for you as a customer the invoice is paid at this point. I assume that eventually BitPay will cancel your invoice, however they seem to be quite patient once the transaction has entered the mempool.

Note that depending on their account settings a merchant may accept an invoice as "paid" even sooner than 6 confirmations:

https://blog.bitpay.com/advanced-merchant-risk-mitigation/

Either way OP needs to contact either BitPay or the merchant they were trying to pay.
