Yeah, as much as I'm unconvinced that this winter is over (I think 2020 post halving is the earliest it could happen), I'll still remember that in mid-2017, no one except the wildest-eyed ones would ever dare speak of 5-figures. Of course, once 10k was breached, that crazy climb to 20k was on everyone's lips, but the point is, no point really saying what's possible because nothing isn't. No rules and different sets of realistic when it comes to Bitcoin.

It is still very possible for bitcoin to get to $10,000 before June this year but it might be very hard for that to happen.  Bitcoin has makes some significant push this week and last week though $5300 is another resistance that has kept it a bit reset.  I think we should be hopeful that bitcoin should recover and be on the part of progress again.

Possible?Just tell me what is impossible for this coin. Price went from 4k to 5k in 24 hour, also last year price has risen by 4K in some days. Oppositely price went from 6K to 3K very quickly. 10.000 is a nice round number, yes it's possible to get up there. We will get the bitcoin consensus in the middle of May, those meetings always seem to bring an uptrend in bitcoin price in the weeks or months before, so if the uptrend we are in now continues we have a possibility to get there, but it's still 2x from here, I doubt we get there in 2 months, but everything is possible.

anything is possible. i think $10k in the next 2-3 months is unlikely though. bitcoin moves quite slow these days and we haven't even tested the $6k resistance yet, let alone broken it. chances are we'll get stuck ranging below $6k for the next several months.

I agree, it was a long squeeze followed by a short squeeze. The long squeeze might continue after we confirm a local top. Unfortunately ~20% of shorts on Bitfinex were closed yesterday when we retested the recent highs, and the funding rate on Bitmex is positive. Those aren't stellar signs for bulls.

I do believe that crypto has no limitations, so indeed as you said mate there no impossible with crypto right now. I don't think $4400 was resistance, resistance was the $4200 area which was formed from the $3100 bounce back in Dec 2018.

Most people had their stop-loss right above this area and when it broke it sent a wave of market buy orders so the shorts could cover. These shorts were all underwater anyways.

However I am talking about the shorts in the $5500-$5800 area that entered when we broke support in November 2018. When BTC hit $3100 they were sitting on massive profit, and unless they took profit, all those unrealized gains were evaporated pretty much.

Even I don't see the possibility of falling again, indeed no one knows what will happen next and it is unpredictable, I just don't want to despair behind the increase that occurred in this quarter and will remain optimistic if the price of bitcoin is able to continue to increase although volatility happen. End of the year is the best case scenario. It could definitely take longer too. People are making comparisons to 2015 but they’re mostly ignoring how long it took to form that bullish structure. Hmm I think it is more or less 7-8k usd basing on how market price move by month. There will always be a little PULL back in every increase will see, so it is something we cannot shy away for, I wouldn’t say its possible or not possible, I have not personally analyst Bitcoin to get that high June, my speculation for that Value was for end of the year, but BTC is full of surprises, it could take us by surprise.

If Bitcoin was overbought, then there should have still been supply in the market, until there is no more supply before I can agree that BTC was overbought, so long we still have lots of supply and lots of investors who will continue to place demand till BTC reaches its ATH, I don’t think we should see any form of decline soon.

What I understand about unpredictability of crypto is that price could dump or pump, therefore if the crypto is bullish, $10,000 would not take

It is an impossible task to put a time bound on when and what the market will do at a particular time, the market looks like recovering from the bear market which was ruling over a year but that cannot give any indication that the market is moving higher and cross certain boundaries in a short period of time, you might even see a pull back before any market rally and hence never set a big target for the short term.

Not unless billionaires arrive here and start buying those cheap coins and make a huge pumped, but in my own view point, I'll agree that 10k$ before June is too high, it's hard to sustained as there's chances that those who holds a lots of coins coming from the last dip can easily sell out and create a big dumped, we need to be realistic and think for longer barrier, slowly but surely would be fine for me.

It is not as easy as you write. The market cap of Bitcoin is around 93 billion USD right now. So for the prices to reach $10,000 per coin, there should be a $100 billion increase in the market cap, which would require the influx of billions into the market. This looks unlikely to me, as the institutional investors are staying away under current circumstances.

Everything can happen for few hours - days with bitcoin but it's better to be close to reality. And if the unexpected price comes positively, then we have nothing to do but become grateful with it. $10,000 price of bitcoin before June seems not to be realistic. Although bitcoin has jumped 1000$ approx. in last 2 to 3 days but it cannot continue this same momentum without the correction. I think 10,000$ is very far away and I don't see bitcoin can touch that milestone within a month or so.

And from what you say, if I say that bitcoin can't reach $10k before June, that would be a lie when the situation is right now, the movement of bitcoin every day always shows an increase, and the speed is really terrible and can't be prevented right now. However, as you said, no one thinks about bitcoin's situation right now, only for a short time, prices can rise significantly, and sometimes, just a few days, the price of bitcoin can still fall sharply, I'm still very skeptical about it
