I think you'll have to provide more data about your transaction in order for the community to help you better. Maybe you can also move this to Beginners and Help for better visibility. Was it your first time buying on both exchanges? |

So, you bought a token, it wasn't credited in your account and your Eth was gone too? Are you sure that you are in the correct site and your order has been filled? If yes, check your Eth address on Etherdelta here : https://deltabalances.github.io/ to see all your balances and transactions |

Did you buy on etherdelta and forkdelta at the same time ?

Are you sure you can use those exchanges? Because it is a little different from the centralized ones. Also, make sure you visit the right site, and check out the made transactions.

At the beginning I want to clarify I use The correct links https://forkdelta.app and useing https://metamask.io/what happened ? https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x4b317864a05c91225ab8f401ec7be0aeb87e9c12-ETH ( Do not buy this token! )this contract address : 0x4b317864a05c91225ab8f401ec7be0aeb87e9c12 I bought this token and yes you can see token show in your ForkDelta wallet but when you check ForkDelta/etherdelta contract address (Token Holder) there is no token there! when we check etherdelta contract address and how much token in contract address such as you see below Balance 0 BOC https://etherscan.io/token/0x4b317864a05c91225ab8f401ec7be0aeb87e9c12?a=0x8d12a197cb00d4747a1fe03395095ce2a5cc6819when you try Withdraw token: Fail > Warning! Error encountered during contract execution Reverted Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted] I do not understand how they were able to do that Is this possible? How avoid these ?.. Did you buy on etherdelta and forkdelta at the same time ?
Just ForkDelta I think etherdelta same thing ( same contract address used ) ~ and your Eth was gone too? ~

You should probably check your exchange wallet to confirm if the token or coin is truly missing, just saying because I haven't experienced such issues using those sites and maybe it's because am not a frequent user.

Is this possible? How avoid these ?.. You are sure that your order has been filled, right? The problem is that, you trade an unofficial listed token in that exchange. There might be a mistake on contract address/decimal or might be a problem with the token itself (changes in the eth standard or the token is locked) that's why you are getting an error/didn't see the balance. The only way to avoid it is to not trade an unofficially listed token on Etherdelta and Forkdelta. You can contact the dev/team of that coin to know if there were changes or if they have an idea about what happened / what's happening. |

Sorry as I can't fully get your point, did you buy a particular coin with Forkdelta or etherdelta and you are yet to see the reflection of the coin in your wallet? or you are mainly talking about the gas fee charged? Kindly provide a more detailed information probably I could help with more insights

I don't think it is possible to buy a token from a decentralized exchange and see it at 0 when you did all you have to do correctly, unless something is wrong with the smart contract.
Decentralized exchanges are so complex and would take an expert who is very knowledgeable about crypto to understand how to make use of it fully without having to go through any guide whatsoever, this is very bad and need to be worked on so fast in order to bring mass adoption in the crypto space, by creating a user friendly DEX.

Am still confused at the point you are trying to make is it that you token order on folkdelta have not been fully implemented and if it so why is your balance shown in you wallet I think you have to contact the support and lay your complain to them they will help you fix it.

It's been one month since the OP, have you tried contacting the team on ForkDelta? If I am not mistaken, the team is pretty much active on discord. If you already did, what was the feedback to you?

This is not possible, if you will initiate the buy and you have enough funds to support your order, you can get your token.
Only risk I know with decentralized exchange are the fake tokens, you should do some research on this part.
