Good question-

ETH and BTC raised from the first phase will be used to develop the Aluna Social platform as laid out in the roadmap. A proportion of the budget will be allocated for branding and marketing to ensure that we reach active traders and trading communities and attract them to the platform. Remaining ETH and BTC raised will be used to maintain and upgrade the Aluna Social platform, expedite the roadmap and grow the team, expand our offering and extend to new markets. This also enables us to invest more resources in R&D to decentralise our platform infrastructure, and find new ways to enable traders using the latest advancements in technology and the crypto space.

Hey there, Insights is Aluna Social’s social feed featuring short-form posts gives users an outlet
to share their opinions about the market.

If you want to post your own insight, click the Aluna logo on the bottom left corner of your screen. You will be taken to a menu page which accesses other pages. Click on Insights. At the top left hand corner of the screen you’ll see the words “How do you feel about the market today?” Click on the words and write a post. The Post button at the top right hand corner of the screen will light up. Click on it when you’re ready to post. Your insight will immediately appear on the timeline.

Let me know if you catch any snags, but it should be relatively straight forward

I'm curious about the staking process- what is social staking and why would I want to do it?

Social staking allows users to participate in a parimutuel pool without the full commitment of providing their API key and copy-trading. Users do not follow a particular trader but instead stake tokens to predict if individual margin trades will end up closing in a profit or at a loss, and are rewarded when correct.

In order to qualify for the airdrop, users will need to sign up on aluna.social and carry out activities to reach badge level 1 in our reputation system.

As for exchanges, we can't speak about those at this moment yet. Stay tuned!

Hey, another good question-

To attain Badge Level 1, users must complete a minimum of 3 tasks from the following list:
Refer a friend
Post on InsightsConnect one API key
Execute a trade (via UI or bot)
Connect Telegram bot
Connect Twitter account
Follow @AlunaSocial Twitter
Join @AlunaSocial Telegram group

These are one time actions, and are not part of the ‘point’ system required to earn and maintain higher badge levels.

Today we are happy to announce that we have updated our Settings Page so users can connect their Web3 wallets, such as MetaMask, to their Aluna Social accounts. Doing so will enable users to receive Airdrops, take part in the Token Swap, receive rewards, and participate in other Web3 related features on our roadmap.

Users looking to swap their EQT by ALN ERC-20 Tokens will need to have their Web3 wallets connected on the website, the SWAP page will be available once the swap is ready to happen. In the meantime, we can only give access to the Web3 page which will not only enable you to do the SWAP but also will enable you to use other Web3 features we are working on.

Once the ALN Token is in place, there will be an AIRDROP happening. We are also currently working on a leaderboard. Once the leaderboard is in place, Users performing well on the leaderboard will also receive awards in ALN Tokens on their Web3 wallets.

We're continuing to develop and test critical features of the platform, such as leaderboard, copy trading which is currently being tested on staging and the ALN token which is already on testnet.

We're also fixing issues such as an error with the trading history performance stats, so that our new leaderboard page can show accurate data. Since 50% of our users currently open the website via mobile we are also focusing on improving the mobile experience and should have a new mobile version online soon.

Well, the platform l@@ks nice and seems to function well. Will probably take some time for me to get the hang of it. As to the swap ... How do I and others get our eqt off of Yobit? Their wallet has been down forever.

As kapalmabur pointed out, we combine an API trading terminal with a social network, which enables unique features such as copy-trading and leaderboards, and the ability to view other trader's portfolio distribution and their real-time trades and performance history.
