The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I'm looking for a 300 BTC Loan, will pay back 300% 700% interest.
Wow, so I get 2100 BTC in return? That almost looks too good to be true!

Oh wait..

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Is it cool if I loan you 420 BTC instead?

Getting back 2940 BTC for my loan sounds like an awesome deal.

I realize no one is taking the OP seriously, but I speak from experience and this needs to be said.

NEVER get a loan denominated in Bitcoins.

This is important... say it with me: "NEVER get a loan denominated in Bitcoins."

For emphasis:
NEVER get a loan denominated in Bitcoins.

-----

You don't know what will happen tomorrow or next week. The Bitcoin value could skyrocket to $10,000 a Bitcoin making your loan cost 10x what you thought it would to pay back. Again, I speak from experience because this happened to me on a smaller scale (less BTC and BTC went from $150 to $1200+ to where it is today). When this happens it can be overwhelming, but I just stay focused and work hard, and know I'll have the loan paid off in no time. I actually have less than 5 BTC to pay back out of the 30 BTC loan and 2 BTC of that is interest. Almost over the hump, but anyways... trust me, you do not want to play the "get a loan in BTC" game. I have probably spent at least $20,000+ paying back a $3000 loan.

Hi I will give you this 300 BTC if you will answer just ONE question which I would ask if you will want to.

But rules are clear: There is only 1 question and only 1 RIGHT answer which only I know Smiley
(only I know means that you cannot know)

Without collateral?

300 * 650 = 195 000$.

Collateral should be a 2 floor house Smiley

Part of me feels like this should be in the loans board, the other part feels like it started in the loans board and was moved here because it was so outrageous.

He wouldn't ask for a loan at all with all those riches he probably set aside before the crash down of the exchange. Cheesy
