Are there any new exchanges lately that I can purchase bitcoin from a bank account with in the US besides coinbase or Gemini?

Alternatively, has anyone ever been banned from the 2 aforementioned sites and then been allowed to use them again?

Did you hear about eToRo I think you can buy bitcoin there with bank accounts or credit card. I don't know if they need KYC but most of the exchanges right now online need KYC verification.

Alternatively, has anyone ever been banned from the 2 aforementioned sites and then been allowed to use them again?

I think if you are banned already in Coinbase you can not use them anymore. I don't know if you can start a new case from them or contact them through support to unbanned your account.

For Gemini, I don't have much idea about this because I never use them before.

KYC isn't a problem. Just have gotten banned from coinbase and Gemini in the past for selling on localbitcoins, so looking for some way I can still purchase coins.

Thank you very much for that new site, I will check them out.

BitStamp recently got the BitLicense. So, if you are a resident in New York, you may try BitStamp.

The other exchange is Huobi USA. They also accept bank transfers as fiat deposits.

Since I am not in USA, I don't know much about the quality of their service for USA residents. However, I can recommend BitStamp as a non-USA resident as they have fast withdrawals and very good liquidity. I am yet to use Huobi even as a non-USA user. Therefore, cannot comment  on them much.

IIRC Payeer support that too, though I'm not sure how much you can trust them. I've used them in the past and it looks like they still operate properly.

It's not new but maybe not as famous as your usual exchange. However, a source said that they restrict new registration from USA residents.[1]

Alternatively, you can trade via OTC from this forum using an escrow (but the fees might be overkill). Btw, have you tried Coinmama before? Seems like they support US (limited states tho) too.[2] I never use it but lots of sites recommended this one (not sure if it's a paid shill).

can you withdraw coins from etoro now? i checked last year and you couldn't---it was like robinhood where you can only deposit fiat to back crypto trades and you couldn't withdraw coins.

bitflyer has a USA exchange now. that's one option: https://bitflyer.com/en-us/

you could also probably use kraken. not new, but they've got a good reputation and decent liquidity.

You may want to check this article Buy Bitcoin in the United States to know all the possible options.
They mentioned about 19 Bitcoin exchanges for USA. They also mentioned all the PROS & CONS of all the exchanges.

Please check if it helps you. I haven't used all except localbitcoins, so I can't give you any feedback.

I have used kraken, but the only deposit method for US residents is wire transfer, which gets pricey if your only looking for a few hundred at a time.

Bitstamp is a great exchange for that yes, but I however wouldn't mess around with Huobi. Somehow Huobi and OKEx are closely related to each other and they also wash trade over 50% of their total volume on a daily basis.

Any exchange that wash trades in such an obvious manner should be avoided at all cost. Also make sure to avoid an exchange such as Bitfinex with all its withdrawal problems and continuous shady behavior.

What is the fee rate per wire transfer?

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

My bank charges 45 per wire and then another 5 on the exchange side. Adds up quick.

Sad to see this still being the reality today.

I can totally understand that if you're dealing with relatively low amounts that you need to find an alternative. Aren't there any local exchanging services available? Usually they take a 1-2% cut, but that's well under what you would pay when wiring your money at a $45-$50 fee to whatever crypto exchange.

This makes me appreciate how much of a privilege we have here in Europe. I can send money to Bitstamp at no cost through my bank. We also have a wide variety of local exchanging services offering instant Bitcoin purchases.

Don't use Etoro to purchase Bitcoin, you are not buying bitcoins you buy bitcoin future, it's tricky. You can't buy BTC and move to another wallet/exchange.

@DebitMe
ACH transfers aren't possible? Because you can fund your kraken account with.
