Changing SPI does impact hashing path and is just a waste.
You do know what SPI is, right? And it, like I2C and RS232 both have different frequencies (“baud” in RS232). Those are just for communications between components and not hashing.... might as well overclock the LEDs to blink faster while you are in there.

You change the weirdest crap.

Also, “disparate”, not “desperate”... unless your voltage package options really are hard up, but I would assume you meant “unique”.

-j

Yes I know what all the settings are doing. We have been testing the firmware for over a month now. I meant to type separate. Go worry about updating your own firmware, go add the features you told people you would and quit acting like no one else can make improvements.

You can talk down all you want on the A9 and z11 stuff like you do with every other fw. It will offers more options to users compared to the factory fw currently.

edit... the funny thing is you are commenting when you dont even know what we have done to the firmware. Unless someone has given you a copy you do not know everything we have going on with it.

Here is the first release of the Chipless Inno A9 web gui add-on. It allows changing of the cgminer config file with out editing manually.  It does nothing more with out a modded cgminer which is available for purchase in my A9 Pro version.  You need SSh to install and directions are included. The zip password is 1234

Easy Install upload 2 files and run the runme.... Thats it!!!

Hi Chipless, is there any place where I can find certain frequencies matched with best voltage for best ksol/s gain?
Also, your discord invite in signature is invalid, could you please provide a new one?

I dont know of any places to where there are results with freq and voltage matches. That can vary from miner to miner.

here is the new discord link

Thank you for the discord link. I thought at least someone would have already made such a list of results... At least some base line. I know that they can and DO vary from miner to miner, but still some results would be helpful. I might(if I find some free time) make such list with 2 of my Z11 so others can compare.

I run mine higher at 793m and 970mv it runs 157-159k @ right about 1900-2000 watts. Most are running them at 940mv or less on the voltage

I have a problem. I've been using your firmware for almost 7 days now and I had to reboot the unit at least 3 times. I would get a notification from pull that the miner stopped working, when I went to check, miner was mining fine and all pools were "Alive".
Went to Kernel Log and only found the line "pool 0 extranonce set to 2f336502000c043a" and that line would repeat for hours where only the numbers and letters were different. What is up with that?

Sounds like a pool issue or network error. I get some odd stuff in log if I lose the inet connection for more then 2 minutes. What pool are you on?

I am using Slushpool and it is working on other Z11 flawlessly. However, on this machine with your firmware, it is causing this problem that I noted above usually after a few hours of normal work.

What version of my fw are you using the 2.4 or the 1.8.r? I use the 1.8.r version it gets better rates but takes a little longer to reach speed. The 1.8.r dont work on Nicehash though. I havent had any problems reported like you describe. So knowing the version can help me pinpoint the problem.

Here are links to the 2 versions

Antminer B7 Full Frequency and Voltage Control is available

The Antminer B7 mods are complete and is available for purchase. There may be a free limited version. I have not decided yet.

The Pro version is available for purchase which will open the full speeds of your B7.

The cost varies depending on the number of units you have. Starting at US $30 for 1-2 miners in a Coin we agree on when you pm for payment info. No PayPal. Digital Currency Only

It features full voltage and frequency control.

Gained hash is from -100% to over +70% depending on the settings you choose. 693watts should give you around 150k +/-  I have seen it peak over 600k and have ran it as high as 182k on a 24hr average

Fixed miner status page. Now it shows the ASIC Status, Added the ability to create backup of the config files, Removed Signature Checking.

Comes complete with all the files and installs all files needed to use custom firmware on your Antminer B7.

I am currently on phone so sorry for quoting everything.

I am using 2.4, may I know the reason why you are using older version?

I use the 1.8.r because it seems that I get more speed at the same settings as the 2.4 and I dont use Nicehash

I got B7 firmware and it seems to be doing very well. Averaging 140-160 per B7.

I don’t know the power draw, but I am told should be 800w plus compared to stock 500w. This means higher temperatures. So you need to watch those and adjust the frequency/voltage.

Excellent work for 50% extra hash.

Not bad for a machine that another developer told a member could never be oc/ov. If you want to under power and keep 96k +/- you can select the voltage in the 40's range and it will run under 500w @96k

Antminer B7 installation update....

You can now install the Chipless Mods B7 firmware modifications without having ssh enabled already. No need to fumble with trying to enable the ssh on all B7 miners. In some instances you may need to downgrade first or use sd method to get you started but dont worry I have all the files needed.
