As a newbie I have question about Hexminer (I have Technobit HEX16A and running with Win8.1) . How I can mine different coins using hexminer? Example asiccoin in pool http://www.coinmine.pl/asc/ or is it possible at all.
I can mine btc in -o stratum.mining.eligius.st -p 3334 but you don't have to register there and make workers so what I need to write in stratum converter? If I use example -o stratum+tcp://asc.coinmine.pl:6110 there comes extra :3333 behind the address when running the converter.
Can Hexminer only be used in such pools where's no need to do separate workers, only mining straight to your wallet?

Thank you for your help!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

When you will go to coinmine pool use this script

-o stratum+tcp://asc.coinmine.pl -p 6110
or
-o asc.coinmine.pl -p 6110

do you downloaded Hexminer V.1.0.0.3 on technobit Website?

it work? give me info if it work..

You have to get your miner on a pool will accept Mining-proxy.exe  or, you have to config your Hexminer with  BFGminer.exe or CGminer

I suggest you to setup an Ubuntu 12.04 x64 machine, and run cgminer 3.8.5 already compiled for technobit devices. You can download it from
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8082585/cg/cgminer-hex16x-3.8.5.tar.gz

(original thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355323.msg3913578#msg3913578)

It is stabler than hexminer 1.0.3 on windows.

I successfully cross compiled cgminer 3.8.5 for windows, patched for technobit devices, on my linux machine, but when I run the cgminer.exe on windows, it is not able to detect the hexa2 device: probably the patch they supply for cgminer 3.8.5 is not able to correctly detect windows drivers.

Like to re-up on this post to see if any thing new is working. For windows miners out there BFG and CG don't have the complied yet. Ubuntu miners get them faster. As of right now all I can get to work is the crappy HEX miner 1.0.0.3. Any advice for Win Miners :/ besides switching?
