Another victim killed by Maduro's forces. Yesterday a 15 year old boy was killed from the back, he wasn't even in the demonstration but was only looking at it. Since April 30 five have been confirmed killed by Maduro's forces. Same story as in 2017 (hundreds killed), 2014, etc.

Impunity for the repressive forces is absolute, so long as they pledge absolute loyalty to the "leader", anything goes...

Quote from: nbcnews
Four dead in Venezuela clashes after opposition uprising, human rights group says

At least four people were killed and 239 were wounded in Venezuela during two days of protests, a human rights group said.

At least four people were killed and more than 200 were wounded in Venezuela during two days of massive demonstrations in the opposition's latest attempt to oust embattled President Nicolás Maduro, a human rights group said.

The group also said 16-year-old Yosner Graterol was killed by a bullet during a protest in the state of Aragua.

Late Wednesday night, the group said it condemned the death of Jurubith Rausseo García, 27, who was shot in the head during a protest in Altamira on Wednesday.

Thousands took the streets this week after opposition leader Juan Guaidó's call for massive, peaceful protests and for the military to defect against Maduro.

This is the kind of regime codepink is defending, good riddance on their squatting kicked out from our embassy in Washington DC.

You must be a very delusional average Joe. The US warmachine kills this number of people before breakfast using only drones. Roll Eyes I'll let you guess one time who is staging "peaceful protests" and getting the people killed in the first place.

I'm sure that Guaidó didn't start this action without support and help from America.
Guaido is a CIA trained agent; of course he didn't start this without support. He was literally sent there from the US (unlike the conspiracy theory ramblings I've been seeing).

Oh? Now its the fault of the demonstrators? Who cares the onlookers getting killed as well? This is what you defend, the killing of innocents. Now stay out from our embassy, blood stained socialists.

Do you want me to bring the pics of these women killed by Maduro's people? Do you want me to repost the videos or the beatings too? You are defending those atrocities here.

Criminality and corruption in Venezuela takes around 20k lives per year. Socialism kills even more than than current conflicts across the world...

If you never live in socialism, you'll never know the truth. Be glad you don't, what you imagine is not what you get, quite the opposite instead...
Socialists enlarge the state "in the name of the people", and then that state stomps the very people they claim to "protect", and exploit them worse than a feudal monarchy...

Tell me, even IF this were true, this is much worse than Venezuela being run by China, which runs literal concentration camps and organ harvesting of political prisoners? You seem to be losing all reasonable perspective. This is about China gaining a South American military foothold complete with fuel supply to leverage against the USA. You think China is above all of this?

I'm sure that Guaidó didn't start this action without support and help from America.

And China openly backs Maduro, a clearly murdering corrupt dictator. You are too busy being the trendy anti-American contrarian to realize there are things worse than US involvement, like Chinese control and the extension of the current regime. You also have some gall telling some one who lives there and can see it with their own eyes what is best of for them, but fuck the Venezuelan people right? NO TRUMP! NO WALL! NO USA AT ALL! YAY CHINESE GULAGS!

This part right here proves that you are delusional and have been manipulated by massive media outlets (the US media will scream socialism at anything that doesn't help feed massive companies Roll Eyes). FYI the economic situation of the country is not a consequence of "socialism", but you wouldn't know this since you are unable to think for yourself apparently.

Quote from: Ilhan Omar
Just as in interventions past, those who oppose war are labeled supporters of dictators and haters of “freedom.”

We saw this playbook in Iraq.

The situation in Venezuela is dire and the Trump Admin is making it worse. We must support diplomacy, not war.

Of course you conveniently don't live here to tell US what was the reason for the economy going bad. Yeah right, you lived your last decade here, and you saw it with your own eyes and suffered it with your own body...

Next time i will tell YOU why you are such a "failed" country, while we live in socialist utopia over here...

Tell you what, lets exchange places, see it if you like it. This is the point all socialists not living in socialism stop . Drop all your belongings and move to a "socialist paradise". But not a few months like any other rich American tourist, STAY living by actually earning your 7 USD every month here a couple of years, without bringing any money, live with the people in a low income area (that's pretty easy in socialism, everyone is low income, except those close to the gov, who are über rich).

Do you think American journalist Eva Golinger, currently working for Russia Today, who was close to President Chávez over a decade, was kidding when she was denouncing Maduro? Why don't you ask her since she is your fellow American socialist how nice things currently are in Venezuela. She will probably join you in your protests too!

Hands off Venezuela!™ Let everyone die by the hands of the oppressor, yadda, corporations, yadda, neoliberalism...

Fact: Trump has done nothing but TALK. No ACTION pure talk. Sanctions against individuals? Be my guest. They have a country hostage at gunpoint, literally. Did you even watch the videos from the protests? Or is it your job only to spread official propaganda while ignoring the actual people getting hurt, maimed or killed on the streets. Who is the delusional one?

This guy in here doesn't represent the majority of Venezuelans but probably represents rich, white Venezuelans very well.  Venezuelans chose Maduro, they chose the bolivar revolution...and yeah, if you wanna keep score, we can keep score and the US is well in the lead of China when it comes to wrongdoing at home and abroad.  Don't mention Gulags when the US has more nonviolent prisoners than any nation in history.  The US has over 6x the incarceration rate of China.

Talk about perspective.  I'm still waiting for China to invade and install dictators/terrorists in random countries all over the world.

I'm for legalizing drugs and prostitution but the non-violent prisoners are not there for political reasons. They are there for possessing drugs, selling drugs, transporting drugs, selling moonshine (home made alcohol), prostitution, gambling - and lets not forget white-collar criminals (not paying your taxes, defrauding customers, etc...)

Again, I for legalizing all drugs. Legalizing prostitution. Legalizing gambling. That will take care of 90 percent of the non-violent criminals (I don't know the true percentage). But don't pretend these people didn't break the law.

Ask Maduro, he and his people keep telling everyone how great socialism is now that we have it and not when we didn't...

If i was rich, i would have some ties with the de facto gov. Those are the only rich people left, they either belong to the presidential family or the family of one of the ministers or those close to him, usually operating some company that gets all the juicy contracts from the State monopoly. Also the corrupt officials, especially the military...

Skin color is meaningless in Venezuela, we don't have your racial prejudices.

The "PRC" annexed: Xinjiang, Hainan, Zhoushan, Tibet, Yijiangshan, Dachen, Paracel. Installed and / or helped consolidate: North Korea, Vietnam...

Venezuela is at least 80% against Maduro. Elections have been a bad joke after the "National Constituent Assembly" fiasco, where they claimed to have more votes that day that when Chavez won the presidential elections in 2012 or the following year Maduro with barely under 1% difference against the opposition leader (which many still claim to this day were rigged). That was BEFORE he actually ruined the economy AND the social programs left by Chávez. Unlike those two previous events, the electoral centers were empty the whole day.

You don't understand this because you didn't lived it. NO ONE went to vote for Maduro last year, yet he claimed again about the same amount of votes than that fake constituent assembly.

The only "bolivar revolution" was the one he made against Spain 200 years ago, which resulted in the independence. You should read what Marx, yes THAT Karl Marx wrote about Bolivar, that will teach you something interesting you seem to have ignore, despite your claimed ideological affiliation...

With your over-cliched "rich white" comment, you showed zero knowledge of this country. Go back and make the "revolution" in your "rich white" country, so you can make it as miserable as this one for everyone that is not the great leader or close to your party...

Funny how you just described Maduro right there, except without the "pure capitalism" and "private central bank" of course, because Socialism is ownership of the means of production by the State. And unlike private entities, you just can't go against the State, or else...

Here I'll fix it for you so it reflects reality:

ok then print money and promis pure capitalism socialism centered on yourself and your central bank scam the venezuelans with your private central bank. without socialism capitalism, you wont get a working population you will need to have an army that enslaves a part of the population because no one will accept the sovereignty of your currency
Well said, that's Maduro's de-facto regime.

Again, I for legalizing all drugs. Legalizing prostitution. Legalizing gambling. That will take care of 90 percent of the non-violent criminals (I don't know the true percentage). But don't pretend these people didn't break the law.

Venezuela has one of the highest violent death rate of the hemisphere (about 20k per year). Caracas often takes the 2nd place in the continent as the city with most violent deaths per year.

Guns are banned for civilians. It was possible to obtain a permit in the past, but this was suspended under Maduro.
Gambling was legal and regulated, but parts of it were suspended under Chávez.
Prostitution is legal.
Drugs including cannabis are illegal.

You do not represent the majority of Americans, but the rich delusional mentally ill leftist "academics" on the West coast. What the fuck makes you think you know better than him? What kind of arrogant piece of shit do you have to be to tell some one living under a dictatorship what is what and criticizing them because their ideas don't fit with your childish delusional fairy tales? Oh the US is in the lead is it? What about the hundreds of millions dead under Mao? What about the concentration camps for Falun Gong, or the Uyghurs Muslims? What about the organ harvesting of these political prisoners? I didn't know the US was imprisoning people for being religious and selling their organs. You don't know shit, you an arrogant little punk bitch with secret delusions of supremacy and you don't know anything about the world. Step aside child and let the adults have a discussion, or grow up and learn to pull information from your brain instead of just your ass.

This is the reason why I never dreamt of becoming a socialist. It is really a stupid ideology. I guess, this Maduro group are supported by a hidden tycoon/oligarchy that has something to get from Venezuela.

Maybe he has a business he wanted to pursue.
Corruption will always be in Politics as it is almost considered a commercial corporation with investment schemes and capitalization. I am deeply interested in this case and I would love to see how this thing will end.

This is an interesting report, and it seems to highlight the reasons for the conflict in Venezuela.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P6fdY-5K0w
I'm in England, so it is difficult to determine the real facts, but it does seem that the current conflict is a class war, and is aimed at oppressing the bulk of the population to protect the wealth of the elite. Guaido has been trained at the Washington College for International regime change, and he does seem to be attempting to protect the interests of the Koch brothers, rather than trying to remove the deprivation that is being imposed on the bulk of the population. Obviously Washington does not want changes started by Simon Bolivar to spread to other South American countries, but DC is destroying America by trying to impose globalist control across the world. It would be far better if they switched to the economic cooperation policies of China and Russia, and stopped relying on failed military intervention. It would also help the environment if they stopped the destruction that results from their war mongering.

I mention the activities of Washington in this post, because that is the public front for the globalist activities. I am aware that the real control comes from the supra-national empire that resulted from the creation of Cecil Rhodes and the Rothschilds, and is orchestrated through the City of London.

Skin color is meaningless eh? Glad that I could show you something about Venezuela.

No one is praising China.  They are oppressive too.  Just not caught up with the US.  Our whole country was annexed, built on stolen land by slave labor.  Native American religions were not even legalized until 1978 with the american Indian religious freedom act.  Also, its a lot harder to oppress native populations AFTER you have wiped most of them out through genocide.  Also, we are putting refugees in concentration camps today.

You named 2 countries where China interfered with government.  Well that number for the US is several dozens and maybe as high as 85.

It's rather interesting how wrong you can manage to get things...
