The first Concept of Blockchain and first cryptocurrency!

The more I see the Elixxir platform start to pop up the more I learn about its founder David Chaum. Some of you may be familiar with him but it's pretty crazy to read about his background inventions of mix networks, blind signatures, Digicash and vault systems.

I def think it's a worthy project to look into at this point and looking forward to beta testnet launch

So, he was the one who worked on the "vault systems" which proposed all elements of blockchain that we see on bitcoin aside from proof of work. I have no idea at all about him and it seems that he is really devoted with his work especially with user privacy. I really thought that bitcoin was the first of it's kind. A very good article since it brings us information of the origin and idea where bitcoin came from.

Don't we have enough privacy based platforms in the market already? I don't see why anyone would be interested in this new product when much more popular and reliable alternatives are available already.

The Elixxir platform may be successful if it attracts enough attention though.

From the sounds of the way the community is talking they want more privacy and if elixxir promises that they can obscure metadata that's huge!

Every time I read news or articles about cryptocurrency, especially when it's about its improvement or adoption, or anything positive about it, I just feel so glad about it. To be honest, this is the first time I knew about David Chaum and with his brief background stated on the article, it is evident that he really did a great job.

There may be other privacy platforms already in use but, with his idea, I think he brings privacy to a much secured level. Furthermore, Elixxir is aiming to help blockchain platforms to speed up its transaction speed which is a good thing for all involved and for those who are not yet involved. And as we move to a digital-age, privacy is indeed becoming a necessity.
