I don't think that the current powerful phones would have the capacity to steal cryptocurrency to an another gadget for as long as you follow the safety measures of securing your Bitcoin wallet. 2FA still serving its purpose to secure our wallets and I'm fine with it.

Just don't store your seed phrase into your phone!

It wont be that easy imho, there is always 2fa to secure your wallet. Even if someone knowing your wallet password or pins but as long as you have 2fa then it is still safe. I think you are just too worry of it, make sure you have 2fa of your wallet then it will be OK.

This could not be fully secured at all(2fa), if he knew your pins and then got your phone, the cyrpto you have will be stolen. I guess it is just safe to say that you shouldn't be letting people know that you had such huge value amount of crypto currencies in the first place-I think that is why anonymity is a must to every crypto users out there to avoid being a target. Whatever we do, if somebody wants to steal from us, they would do most of the things that we wouldn't ever know and that includes even hurting us physically if they knew who we are and where we live and so on. Well maybe I am stating these things because I live in a less secure place than you do guys, I don't know but just to be sure we must think far beyond ahead of us.

I watch the link, and I am amazed at the zoom of the phone.
Wow, that is almost the same as a camera which can zoom closer to the object.
I only think that if I want to open my phone using line pattern, I must make sure there is nobody behind me Grin
A better technology started to come out and release a new product with more function, and it will give advantage for us, but we still need to be careful when using the technology.

I don't think you need to worry because to find out the pin, password and other security info is not enough just to use the cellphone to steal the data, we must be able to hack the system from the wallet

Just don't handle your 100₿ bitcoin wallet from your phone... That should remain in a cold wallet.
In your phone just keep what you are likely use for the day, like, you know, an actual day to day wallet.

If someone wants to inspect you, they can do it with a decent professional digital camera, not the gimmicks on smartphones. Like a sniper, they can take a look from so far that you wouldn't have the slightest idea (an actual sniper scope would to just fine). There is also the chance that the surveillance cameras could be used, now that there are 4k or better in the market, and definitely have better lens than a smartphone camera, many can be moved remotely and zoom at you on command.

That phone is really awesome and creepy at the same time with that 50x zoom in camera but regardless of that, I don't think it's be easy for them even though they're secretly watching you while entering your pin or password.

Exactly, a cold or hard wallet is the best option if you are holding huge amount of cryptos.

So we really need to take care of everything which involves crypto right now. Criminals will likely target us, whether using high tech gadgets or will simply knock on your door put a gun in your head and steal your coins. I'm not into overly sophisticated phone, btw, so I'm not buying this one even though it has 50x zoom or whatever.

It won't be that easy since people now learned and using more security purpose. 2FA and secret question can't be crack that easily. Also website right now have many security too specially when you log in into new IP.  Even Facebook can blocked your acct fast when you logged in into new IP

We are constantly under surveillance from CCTV cameras with crystal clear zoom functions. I have seen CCTV cameras close to ATMs and even secret pinhole cameras built into panels in cash ATMs. If the operator behind these CCTV cameras are criminals, most people would have had problems with their Bank accounts being emptied. <They can track these people, steal their cards and use the password that was gained from this footage.>

Human engineered "hacks" to bypass security measures has been with us for ages, so no security is 100% bulletproof against clever criminals.  Wink

What do you think will be the impact of this kind of powerful phones? There are discussions that this is a potential security nightmares for crypto enthusiast who uses smartphones as their crypto wallet. So just be careful when entering your pins or passwords in public places, you will never know who's watching you at your back, or in this case above you.  Grin.
Well, It wouldn't really affect me as I have 2Fa everywhere + I have hardware wallet, Also I use fingerprint authentication wherever It's available. 50x zoom is pretty sick, Soon there will be 100x zoom by a competitor lol.

Honestly, I see absolutely no problems. 2fa authorization + complex password and elementary security tools and your wallet will be safe. The problem is that many users do not even comply with the elementary security features of their wallets. I personally had a date as a guy at the airport came into your accaunt Binance through the wi-fi airport. Personally, I would never do that. And I think that is the problem. In addition, wallets are constantly being improved, and it is possible that access via fingerprints or voice will soon be possible.

At first, when I saw the title of the OP I think it is irrelevant to post it here but when I read it, it does make some sense at all. Cheesy

That's correct, 2FA is really a game changer when it comes to security issues and threats against Crypto Currency safety. I guess these days there are lots of ways to secure our wallets and there are a lot of safety precautions to do to make it even safer.
