“risk-free”, “absolutely safe” and “guaranteed profit”, Latest scam!!

The recent uprising in the scam accusation in cryptocurrency, has drawn my possible attention toward investors (Newbie); who are most vulnerable. Many conviction based on this has gone viral and have come up with an idea that looks pretty good for investors (Newbie) to look out for before they take any decision toward their investment in any project or scheme in this industry. Cautioning cryptocurrency investors (Newbie) of potential scammers around the industry, who claims that their scheme is “risk-free”, “absolutely safe” and “guaranteed profit” are hallmarks of a fraud.


Ensure to watch-out for these phrase from those scammers and when detected never invest on such project or scheme, they are all Ponzi Scheme.

Haven't seen any investment that's risk free, absolutely safe and guarantee profit because investment is all about risk and those who are able to mingle with this risk involve, are those that come out successfully without they get burnt in the process. No investment that's safe, as life itself isn't safe either. These are worlds personally will check out before my next investment.

Any project or investment platform that promise certain amount of profits within a stipulated time frame is fraud, because the cryptocurrency industry is highly volatile and at that no investment guarantee turn over within any time because the market is always unpredictable.

Because only greedy people's like to invest on ponzi scheme. And high return on investment & promising projects usually ponzi scheme. My own advice is never trust everything you see or read try to go through every aspect of it.

I guess you haven't heard of 'Fixed deposit' then. It does offer a risk free investment with guaranteed profit. But it is in respect to fiat currencies.
Any investment with guaranteed profits in crypto is guaranteed to be a scam.

In any field or industry, to develop yourself and not be deceived, what we are required to do is: learn. When you enter the crypto market, you will find there are many new things, it is both an opportunity and a challenge. There is a lot of knowledge that we must learn for ourselves. As long as you master the knowledge I am sure it is difficult for you to be scammed.
The important topics that you have to study under me will be:

1. Concept : Blockchain, Crypto, ICO, STO, IEO...
2. How to use each type of wallet: MEW, Metamask...
3. Security : Gmail, Your computer, wallet..
4. Evaluate and read documents of projects you want to invest: the advice is to stay away from crypto mining programs through the cloud.
5. Knowledge of trading, the goal is to become an investor or trader

This is my experience when I joined the crypto market two years ago. I think it will be very helpful for newbie!

Basically, there are greedy people's around any sort of investment, come to think of this, someone advertise his/her investment (product/services) to the public and another thought of the investment as a gain, will you call such people's greedy?. Sincerely speaking, not all investors are greedy to the point of investing into a ponzi scheme. Was not greedy when i fell into their hands last year; lesson learnt: "not all that glitters are golds".

Let's try as much as possible, to figure out there most used worlds, phrase, sentences and terminology; in order to set war against them either here on the forum and outside the forum.

Absolutely, they are the target becasue they are full of greediness and with low experience in the cryptocurrency world, the bull run has surface and the most scammers will equally surface too, let orient Newbies to be careful not to fall victim for their cheap scam activities.

Greediness on the part of Newbies make them the main target for scam. I once a victim of such circumstance, that's why am here cautioning the Newbies to be very careful with any project or investment that contain words like “risk-free”, “absolutely safe” and “guaranteed profit”. Bitcoin price has increase, and there might be an increase in scam also.

The point is, they're being advertised as such, even though they're definitely not any of these claims.

Anyway, these scams have existed since forever. People wouldn't honestly fall for these scams if only they think clearly and rationally how money can't just magically pop out of thin air(unless you're the owner of a central bank). Unfortunately in this case, experience is the best lesson.

If I had a way to make money in a "absolutely safe" "risk-free" investment that would generate a "guaranteed profit" I would not share my investment idea with anyone one. If the investment produced a "guaranteed profit" of 10% every year, I would borrow as much as I can at interest rates as high as 9% per year, and put those loan proceeds into that investment. I would be acting against my own interests to share details about my investment opportunity.

Lately I’ve seen a couple of threads on the topic of those BTC based schemes that guarantee you a given interest for depositing your BTC with them, with some of the opinions rather excited about it. This sort of business claim to make their profit from either short trading with the deposited amounts and/or lending them to third parties.

While that rings a bell and is similar to what banks do, BTC does not behave in the same manner, having no (alleged) safety net mechanism to safeguard your investment, and being the market unpredictable. Besides, there is just no telling if the underlying motive is to setup a Ponzi scheme and be off with your BTC before the withdrawal window opens. It simply seems like too much of a risk over assets that you will lose control.

No, there's not. Regardless of how great a project is, there's no such thing as guaranteed profit. Heck, there's no guaranteed profit even with Bitcoin. There's always a chance of losing money no matter what. In the first place, no legitimate project would advertise their product as something that would guarantee profits.

Exactly! As an investor you need to make your own research and based on your knowledge and experience understand whether or not the project can become profitable sometimes in the future.
Projects that are advertised as 'absolutely safe' are just trying to take the focus off their faulty whitepapers and technical documentation and have the investors focus on the "guaranteed" profit they will make.

Absolutely correct, but based on human nature of greediness Newbies investors aren't going to look at the angle you tend to look, hence head toward the questionable bogus profits accrued to the investment without any second thought, thereby get scam by these fraudsters(scammers).

I think the assumption that just because someone is a "newbie" that they are young, new to bitcoin, or don't know what they are talking about is just naive.

All being a "newbie" means is they have recently registered. Some people register here after being involved, or interested in Bitcoin for a long time. Some even have worked for crypto related companies for years before registering here.

Someone who is new here may have experience investing elsewhere. The keywords in this thread's title are not unique to bitcoin or crypto scams. Scammers have used these keywords for decades, long before probably satoshi was even born.

curently i making 120% in Fxtradingcorp and curently im out of this scame with profit +120%

for 6 days expire me 90 days package in weenzee (hyip scam) with profit 90% (after 6 days going out of this scam but probably weenzee will work 365Days (curently work 150days)

i invest 1000Eur to Vik Trader (hyip scam) , vik trader is new ponzi , probably will work minimal 230days , curently work 1 month , afterr 3 months going out of this scam .

Best Market traders have 64% win ratio , ruleta in casino have 51% win ratio  but invest to hyips ponzi schame scams is better bitnis , i have 95% winning , my tagret is 100% and risk 100% of investments

  Promoting Ponzi's is not well received by many members of this board, (including me.) If you want to be dumb, and invest in Ponzi's, that's your business. But we do not want to hear people promoting it. (Especially in this thread where the OP is warning people against them.) Eventually, you will get burned if you make this a habit.
