Why I was perma-ban? Spam or plagiarism? Hell no!

I was perma-ban today, and I want to know my offense. I don't want to jump off the bridge without knowing the answer.

I normally come here to have fun and share ideas with different people around the world about what we all love which is bitcoin. All I do here is post my articles, make some comments and also share relevant articles from external sites with reference URLs.

Everyone knows me here because I like sharing my thoughts, ideas, and feelings about the cryptocurrency market. Check all posts and see how people are happily commenting because they're having solid conversations. Tell me, what more do you like better than that, huh?

If those images are going to be considered instances of plagiarism, then that's pretty ridiculous.We have these, though:

OP, i see you have a habit of not using quotation but rather including the source at the bottom (i see nothing wrong with that) but maybe you forgot to paste the link on some of your posts/topics?

I have not spent my time to investigate the case of perm-banned OP, because I don't have too much time and enough skills to do this.
However, publishing snapshotted images without permissions from owners of those photos, or sites won't lead to plagiarism, at least in the forum.
Admin raised his opinion in another topic there.

- That's not plagiarism.
 - If there is dox outside of the investigations section, report it with that as the reason.
 - If someone is threatening violence against you, report it with that as the reason.
 - If you have a copyright claim, you have to PM/email me a valid DCMA takedown notice with all required elements, including your address, a declaration under penalty of perjury, etc. Note that I will forward your notice to the affected users.
 - The forum is not under EU jurisdiction.

It is obviously that members should leave source link to sites or places where you get those images for their posts or topics, but without links, they won't be judged as plagiarism in the forum, so far.
I could be wrong, but mostly perm-bans come from plagiarism, so the OP case probably due to plagiarism (content plagiarism, not photo plagiarism).

God, I created all these topics by myself, Why do I have to put an external links, huh? In fact, links from where?

For those that are saying image plagiarism, why is that? I never heard of that on this forum. Did anyone here ever penalize for that? Post something important please, stop posting irrelevant replies.

Sorry, those replies were deleted by the mods not by me. I'm always trying to have a solid, honest, and positive conversations here and I believe that's the exact purpose of the forum.

Just Curious OP, Did you put the Yobit Signature ? There is mass banning of the people from Yobit campaign but do not think that ban was permanent.

If he was banned for that, it would be total nonsense. It's just a screenshot, not plagiarism. If it's plagiarism, probably half of forum members should be banned, because most of us have uploaded some screenshots to Bitcointalk. Plagiarims would be when someone upload things like stock photos without legaly obtaining it. How about posting memes without putting credits of creator - is it also plagiarism?
I think OP ban isn't related to that post. As guy above said, maybe it's possible that he was in Yobit sig campaign, one of his posts was reported and deleted and he got 60 days ban.

No. I did not wear the Yobit campaign. It was a mess of course. My case was perma-ban not a 2 weeks ban.

No. I don't participate in Yobit campaign at all, I was actually wearing the Veil signature campaign.

I think some mod perma-ban you for both, spam&plagiarism, but for the final confirmation you will have to wait that mod who ban you post here. What can easily be noticed if we look at your post history is that many of your posts are just in form of news (copy / pasted) but with reference link.

This post does not look like classic plagiarism, but you probably use it as source and just mix words from article. I am not saying your ban is because of that, or that I report your post, but only cite it as a possible example how your post habits cost you perma-ban.

It is also possible that ban is result of some old post, you probably notice some users are banned for posts they made 2-3 years ago.

@OP, You have a habit of copying articles and posting them, and then adding the ref link at the bottom of your post.  In those cases you don't add any original content, not even a brief introduction to the subject.  These could be considered low-value uninteresting posts, which are against the rules.

I also would not also mark that post as plagiarism, but I just want to show that too much posting in that way in the end may lead user in problem. We do not know what is exact reason for perma-ban, but user hacker1001101001 has found something that could be the main reason for this perma-ban.

If we look at date of this post (26. April, 2017) then it is exactly two years from posting to perma-ban. Someone obviously has enough time to to review old posts and report users who have done something against the rules.

That is almost assuredly the cause of the ban (a post closely resembling the highlighted post). There have been past cases of plagiarism bans given out for similar situations.

I could be wrong, but I believe there's only one automated ban notification for both possibilities, spam or plagiarism.  Also, the OP mentioned both in the title of the thread.  I've never seen the warning with my own eyes, but here's a quote someone posted:

It's odd though, cybersofts was usually careful to add a source to his copy-pasta, this could have been an oversight.  Considering the quality of the accounts posts, however I would be surprised if this ban was overturned.

I think cybersoft's posting style where he just gets images as well as the specs and even text without any kind of references made him unknowingly do plagiarism, he might not be aware of his actions though that is why he is asking for what happened actually.

No. I got the notification on the top of my forum profile. I don't think I broke any forum rule in all my actions. I just got burned without any good proper reason. Pointing out the posts I made 2 years ago when I was a "newbies" is pointless. It's just a blackmail, if not how could you questioned me for what I did 2 years ago? BTW, I made countless contributions to the forum but you guys now turn a blind eye trying to bury me alive. If I was doing something wrong at least you should warn me, the parma-ban is just unfair. I'm not some kind of criminal for God's sake!

yes very possible, someone must have done a lot of digging to get to that point, but i suggest you keep your cool here, non of the admins replied, all of us here are normal members with 0 power, so staying cool and polite + being sorry for the mistake you did + promising not to do it again is probably the best you can do.
