With recent events in crypto currency trades since January 2019, I have learnt to cash out

Crypto currency long term hodl is very good and rewarding no doubts
But we are at a stage where crypto is formed by whales and the money controllers

With the persistent pump and dumps by the whales; crypto is like a game at the moment
Trading has probabilities like other games but it suits like a business more than a definition of a game. Whales are there, we can't do something against them, ufortunately. Holding is the best option in the bear market and knowing the time of cash-out can save a life sometimes.

Thats a good idea where you need to understand that the game of crypto is just not about holding for a long period of time, you need also to take your profits and you need to enjoy it, you also need to understand that taking profits is not about taking the investments, its a way of taking back the profits that you need to enjoy from participating into bounties or your investments in crypto.

Good for you. But there will be holders for the long haul and there will be speculators who short the market, that's how everyone earn here in crypto.

Yes, there are a lot of supposedly whales who always pump and dump the market. So it's either you ride with them or just simply do nothing. But for me if you are able to spot a pump earlier, its better to ride and then exit on time and book the profits.

Based on which one coins we are holding because not all of coins is better and have potential to hold, some time many coins have lower price after holding for long time and keep it become lower price coins.
I agree with this one, it all depends on the coin you are invesing with. If you are holding a new releases token in the market then it's not advisable to make long-term holding because there is no assurance that it will grow further. Most of the ICOs are just made for pump and dump (based on my own experience). But when you are hodling strong coins such as eth, xrp, doge and the remaining within top 10 then I think it is okay to hodl. They are as competitive as bitcoin (somehow), they more stable and trustworthy than the others so there's no need for sudden exits in the market.

If your goal is to earn as much cash as possible, then of course you need to sometimes fix profits in stable coins or cash.

If you know what you are doing, it is better to trade and exit from time to time. You can accumulate more coins and earn more if you can do it right. But, if you are not good at it, it is better to hodl on your coins and just let it grow in value. Safer but takes more time.

That Is more like taking percentage profits on investments instead of waiting for $1. 10 to 20 percent profits on regular basis will keep you from loss. This is what newbies need to learn before venturing into cryptocurrency trading

That percentage of profits already been tough from what the situations right now, crypto movements needs to be evaluated properly, whales are active and really working well inside the market, playing against them will be hard but rewarding if you got the chance of reading how they move and manipulate the market, analyzing your next position will give you chance to earn, need to be careful doing it.

The market is not stable and the prices of crypto are crashing down so it's advisable to sell once the coin list

You don't necessarily need to cash out and convert your crypto to fiat.

If the main reason you're cashing out is because you're worried crypto prices could crash then a quality stablecoin (not USDT) can serve the same function.

Many exchanges are now providing their own stablecoins that are fully auditable so you can cash out then back in when prices drop fairly easily.

If you don't have trust in the currency, it's good to liquidate it and the current market is bad enough to invest in. Ultimately, any cryptocurrency is just another gambling coin where the market suffers investors suffer, market improves investors earn profit.

I am agree. But most long term holder dont have knowledge about trading. Crypto is very volatile market and i think if we have good trading skill, it will be profitable. Long term can be profitable as long the coin is good and always active in development. But if want to keep it safe, better invest and hold bitcoin for long term

many altcoins are new but prices are not stable especially if they are listed on the exchanger because they depend on the volume right you're just pumping and dumping the prices of altcoins and can not understand why the bitcoin affects the market so the price of altcoins in the market becomes dumped and the dumpers are likely to have other holders and traders on board holding their altcoins in the traders because many do it because they prefer the daily profit so sometimes an altcoins are big percent of the deficit but do not panic or tweets especially if you want to invest in altcoins you just have to deal with your inner cryptocurrency without losing risky especially when the money is being discussed.

It applies to so many coins coming from ICO and some on stable coins, you must know where your exit point, because of the whales controlling the scenarios you might be late to sell your coins, this has been the issues for those who can't keep up, they are left as bag holders.
Basically it applies to all of coins out there, whales can easily control everything that you can expect yeah your right about that, learning when to exit/stoplose is very beneficial specialy for all hodlers out there

I wouldn't say gambling in true form, yes, it has risk, but you can always mitigate risk by liquidating it on time to stop stop your bleeding.

There is nothing wrong liquidating your assets, specially if you see that your investment is not going nowhere. So instead of seeing you money somewhat stagnated and not moving, then obviously a better option would be to cash it out, if you want to take your money or shift your funds around.

if you have really learned to not bag hold altcoins and sell them at the right time before their dumps begin then you are already better than 70% of those who are participating in the altcoin trading every day! because most of them are small time traders who buy some altcoins and think if they bag hold them then they can make a lot of profit from doing so but they end up being dumped on and lost a big part of their investment and go away for good.

When you’re playing the game of investing in crypto’s it’s important to understand the basics of buying and selling, if you buy at lower prices, and sell at higher prices you have learnt to master the game. We have seen the crypto market recover from the bear phase, and I’m glad that you have learnt to be patient and sell when the prices are high. Whales are always not the reason why prices fall, sometimes it’s due to negative news which forces people to indulge in panic sale which in turn puts pressure on the prices.

It depends on your target goals. If it's just to make some beer money now and then cashing out regularly is highly recommended. Take profits when you can before it's too late. However, bigger profits go to long term hodlers with more patience
