This is not important to discuss, but it's for general curiosity. I hold over 100 coins and tokens but most of them found in airdrops so they have near zero value. I only have 11 including BTC that I invested and really care about. I don't want to name all of them but as of today, nearly 66% percent (based on BTC price, not fiat) of my portfolio fills with Bitcoin.
Can you share your percentage of BTC holding? Kindly, only count coins that have value.
90% of what I have in my wallet is Bitcoin, 10% is Stellar (XLM). This year I didn’t have that time for buying altcoins and the only reason why I did buy Stellar was because of the airdrop, after I got their $25, I decided that I will buy more and add to it. I’m just focusing on Bitcoin alone and I’m okay with it.

I have been trading BTC/usd and I also have some that I kept for hodl. The XLM is my wallet is also for hodl, I’m just holding it for when the price goes up. But if the price of BTC goes up and XLM doesn’t, I will just sell it cause it will be of no use to me.

I think mine is more than what crypto people usually go with, I have a bit of eth in my portfolio but its like 90% of what I have right now and rest of that 90% is purely on bitcoin right now. Not that I think bitcoin is the only good coin and others do not deserve to be on my portfolio but I feel like it requires a lot of time and research in order to find the good ones and put them in my portfolio and I do not like doing that.

Any altcoin and even including ethereum could lose value over time whereas bitcoin will always be the top coin, the top 10's 9 coin could change from today to next year except bitcoin which will still be on the number one spot. So, even though I know there are great coins that could profit me a lot out there I feel like keeping mostly bitcoin really lowers the risk of losing.

In the long term, I think it is worth investing only in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Investment in the first coin, because it is unconditionally the market leader and the most reliable digital asset. The second coin has promising development prospects, which is indicated by its relevance in the market for alternative cryptocurrencies and tokens. Thus, 50% of Bitcoins in the investment portfolio is the minimum necessary.

I hold more Bitcoin than altcoins. I hold 60% Bitcoin, 20% Ethereum and the rest is composed of different altcoins. I earned a higher percentage of Bitcoin because every time I trade my altcoins, I switch it to hold more BTC. I guess it's enough to gain a good profit when the bull run comes.
That’s usually what I do most of the times, I sell my altcoins and in convert them to Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is more safe than other coins and its price is likely to go up, unlike altcoins that might continue to drop as the price for Bitcoin continues to rise.Even I want to hodlaltcoins it wouldn’t be altcoins that are not on the too of the list. I prefer to buy altcoins that are topping the chart cause I’m already sure that they are good and won’t likely disappoint.

My large investments solely goes to BTC, I have few eths it is because I used them for transaction purposes whenever I will sell some of my altcoins that came from bounties. 70% of my current portfolio holds Bitcoins as the largest and the rest are alts that are also traded in top ten exchanges. As for now I only buy Bitcoin with my fiat money and leave the others as it is.

Most of the people are not going to reveal their true portfolio value here because anonymity is one of the main reason for the people to invest on bitcoin, but for all the crypto investors their percentage of bitcoin will be over 50% atleast.

I don't have bitcoins but I have a lot of tokens from bounties that I've been earn last two years and still holding them until now, just like 70% of them has a valued and the remaining are worthless or no value, it's hard to say that this would be a good idea but I am willing to wait until it's moon.

I agree with you for the most part but I would keep a small percentage to gamble on low cap coins.  Notice I say gamble because how risky it is investing in new coins.  I wouldn't use more than 10 percent of your total crypto funds.

The amount of bitcoin that I am holding changes depending on which coin my strategy tells me is going to perform best, at the moment all my investment in crypto is in bitcoin, while many could see this as too conservative, and they are probably right, the truth is that you cannot go wrong by having all your money in bitcoin, however if the right opportunity presents itself I do not have any problem in converting half of my holdings to ethereum, litecoin and other good coins if I see an opportunity to make some easy money.

Currently i don't have much crypto asset on my wallet but mostly i was hold 60% for bitcoin and 30% for ETH and the  rest of percentages mostly i get tokens or altcoins which no value but i personally don't dare to putting my money more than 50% for altcoins and my thought still bitcoin is my high priority rather than altcoins
What do you mean by you don’t have much crypto asset in your portfolio, you already have it all with these holding, especially BTC and ETH, BTC investment to me is still far more than any other assets you can ever imagine to hold, there is nothing as good as holding a coin that is reliable for future and not the ones that can crash on one at any time.

These are basically the rules that I follow too, and 90% of my holding are BTC and ETH, I just trade some of the altcoins for short term trade and not for holding or long term investment, I prefer to hold a coin that has been in existence for long for long term which only BTC qualifies.

In mine there is:
BTC - 40%
ETH - 20%
EOS -10%
TRX - 10%
XBY - 10%
other - 10% (alts from some airdrops, ICOs, bounties etc.)

I think about change EOS to TRX because it is much easier to use it daily.

ETH - 50%
BTC - 40%
10% Other altcoins. ( 5 different coins in top 100).

This is not the holding we are talking about mate, from what you have just shared, I think it shows to me like majority of your holdings are shit holding and it would be very unwise for you not to have BTC now that you still got the chance to buy from its cheap price.

You can’t completely rely on tokens you worked for compared to the ones you directly invested in, so I will give a brief advise that you sell part of your holding if they have entered exchange to use and buy BTC, in case others later becomes worthless too, so that you will not be in sorrow when altcoins pumps.

The number of altcoins is high in my investment portfolio but they are low in ratio. The average rate of Bitcoin in my portfolio is 50%,  sometimes it can up to 70%. I hold many bounty and airdrop tokens for the possibility of profit a lot,  because I didn't pay for them and now they're not worth to sell.

While it is true that my purpose since entering the crypto market was to accumulate as much as possible of bitcoin and ether, I must admit that my attempts to increase my btc holdings through trading have failed and that is why at this moment I have very little btc and a lot of low-value altcoins where I failed to invest my valuable btc.

Therefore, at this moment I may only have 20% of my crypto holdings in btc, 30% in ether and the remaining 50% in altcoins, but my purpose is to sell altcoins at the best possible price to increase my bitcoins to 60% of my holdings.

You can’t completely rely on altcoins man, you need to quickly buy bitcoin, you are right to say that Bitcoin bull run has a way of making some altcoins value to pump but not all of them and it can never be compared to the profit you will get when you invest in bitcoin itself.

I don’t know the type of altcoins you’re holding, but irrespective of the altcoins, they are still learning in pump where bitcoin his when the time comes, some altcoins might even die off the market with any little news that will shake them, better you put your investment in bitcoin safe haven than those altcoins.

This is true. But I don't think this will affect the top 20.

Many are in the same position as you, they bought altcoins trusting the developers were saying the truth when they claimed they had an idea that could become the next big thing in the market, many were attracted by such promises since the profits that could be gotten if those words were true are incredible, but most of the time those promises were false and now there are many people that are wondering what to do with their coins, I hope that you can recover your money but if that does not happen then you need to find a way to increase your bitcoin holdings and fast since bitcoin is not going to keep waiting forever, and at some point it will begin to grow and many people will lament not having enough of it to make a difference in their lives.

I think we virtually share the same thing in common, these are the 3 major coins that I have my investment in too, and just that my bitcoin is 65%, while my ETH is also 20% and my litecoin is 15%. I mean those are based on my personal investment, because those are the ones I still count as a reliable coin or investment for future.

My other portfolios is just full of some altcoins that I got through my work and I am still yet to know what the future holds for them, I know I did a diligent work in getting them out through my research, but only God can tell their intention, so I am waiting to see which one will join my other bitcoin portfolio.
